I don't see why not. There's just the details with length and how to judge... Well, I mean, I don't know how to judge comics.

Oooh interesting. One of the few things that will get me off my rear and actually writing, a contest. Since it says it has to be something not made before the contest time, I suppose I will have to make up something completly new. Give me a week. Mwahahahaha. *Starts choking from evil laughter and not having enough practice with it.*

Judge it the same way you judge a story.

And as for lenght, set it low, no more than 2 or three pages, I'd recommend no more than 1. Most people will have their hands full doing just that much work.

So, for the story contest, is there a set of eligibility/inelligibility requirements? before I start playing with more ideas, I'd like to know if I'm not going to be inelligible due to quasi-mod status...

If you're not a judge, or me (;p), then you're eligable. Otherwise, the same conditions apply to everyone, as mentioned on the site.

when sending in the story, do we send it in a text document? or a zip? or just as text in the email?

Anything that I can likely open or put into some file format so the judges can see it. I prefer word documents, rtf, txt and html stuffs. If it turns out to be something that I can't open, I'll just ask them to send it in another format. Although I should probably add that to the site. Thanks for asking the question. ^o^
