Based on a graphic novel by the same thing.

Let's see... production, top notch, WETA was invovled.

Mood? Check.

Scary monsters? Check.

The premise is there's a city in Alaska where for 30 days, there is no sunlight at all. And guess what, vampires show up. Crap!

I had no major issues with this film really, the worst that could be said of it is that with 30 days, you'd figure these vampires would have been motivated enough to tear the whole city apart, rather than leave people hiding around.

Other than that, good movie, worth a watch. Had me twitching with anger because I wanted to massacre some vampies myself U_U those are mean vampis, not sexay ones.

seen some trailers not much of a horror movie buff though, i'll probably give it a rent sometime though.

Concept seems decent though can't feel to much pity for people that willingly live in alaska.
the anti-thesis of myself... come see, feel, know the truth beyond truths it'll just cost your soul.....
Overlords+Magic+Tropes=TF TG and flying jigglypuffs... among other things
