Dragon Half

Well, Dragon half is my favorite manga to date, and has been for years, and its translation (except for the side story) has been completed.

My roommate attempted to watch/read Dragon Half. He said it was filled with humorous cliches. But said I should never touch it. He looked like he wanted to eat his own feet for a week.

Well, duh. I wouldn't recommend reading the manga and anime at the same time, no matter the series. ;p

And I'd suggest finding out for yourself, instead of relying on the kind of suggestion your roommate gave. You might miss out and never know. But if it does turn out to be bad, you can take it out on me. Wouldn't that be fun?

Nah, that's okay.

He and I had really similar tastes, and I definitely trust him on this one, given his vivid recollection. Much like how I told him about Lucky Star. Oh that was funny when he actually saw the first episode for about five minutes and then turned it off. XD

Well, if you say so. I like nonsensicalness and visual gags, so Dragon Half is my cup of tea.

I've had the opportunity to watch Lucky Star, but I never intend to. I feel bad vibes. :O
