Basically I'm just wondering if anybody else has played this yet, and their opinion on this game.

Personally, I have yet to play this. My friend ,whom I consider to be quite proficient with games, told me it was pretty good and worth buying though. Good ratings from reputable gaming magazines help its case as well.

Oh, I've already played and beaten it, and am on the verge of doing so again. I was just curious as to who else might have come across it.

And yes, I would also recommend it to anyone that enjoys violence and pointless death of civilians.

Or anyone who plays GTA.

I've got it, and find it to be profoundly enjoyable. Just running around the city and tossing cars at unsuspecting civilians is immensly fun.

My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is the inability to use powers while disguised. Other than that, it's a pretty incredible game, and well worth the purchase, in my opinion.

But if you think about it, having a blade protruding from your arm with another person's body would be a bit pointless, wouldn't it? They're gonna know it's you.

Unless you want it purely for the aesthetics and not the game play, in which case I totally agree.

Half the time I do things that give me away, anyway. It would just be nice to not have to revert to Mercer when you want to fight. That would leave his default form as a viable getaway disguise for when you need to ditch the military. Plus, it's be funny to see an old guy or a business man with claws or a big blade ripping apart the military.

Either way, as I said, it's a minor complaint. It was just a bit of a letdown that you can't do that, considering Mercer does exactly that in the opening cutscene.

Or a girl in capris and high heels.

You can TOTALLY do that, too. Find a girl and stealth-consume (or grab and don't waste any time) and boom, loopholed TG goodness!

Yeah, I've run across that girl a few times throughout playing. Though, the girl in the purple jacket and the businessy looking woman seem to be the characters who show up the most. About 75% of the time when I grab a person on the street, it's one of those two characters.
