I was looking up videos on Gametrailers when I spotted Disagea 3 as one of the featured videos. It is apparently for the PS3 but so far it looks good

As long as it's PS3, I'll never get it. I'll stick to Disgaea 1&2, thank you.

Nothing against the game, I just despise Sony, so I'll never be buying a PS3.

Heh, good to see the designers are taking this game even less seriously than usual. Some of those attacks are just completely out there, even for Disgaea's usual fare.

I got a slimline for Christmas when they came out, then I caught up on the games that I missed because I didn't own a PS2. My PS1 was given to me as the last wishes of someone. I buy all of my PS2 games used, unless they're japanese, then I buy them at cons. I bought my PSP, and all of its games used.

I haven't paid a dime to Sony for any of my Playstation merchandise. They made enemies of me looooong ago.

Probably the high price and the fact that it's copying a lot of what works for other companies. Kinda weird that the company is using similar ideas, eh?

Not really, considering the fact that Sony stole the entire concept of the Playstation when Nintendo came to them about making it. Nintendo missed their chance to sue them for it years ago.

Stole the chance? Nintendo HIRED them to make it, and then stabbed them in the back PUBLICALLY right afterwards. They didn't steal anything, it was their engineering, their design, and their concept. Nintendo just said "make us a disc system", and they did, then Hiroshi Yamauchi turned around and hired Phillips to make the CDi hours after Sony announced their joint project with Nintendo. Remember how that turned out?

Get your facts straight before you go around blaming companies for legitimate business that was a logical response to being betrayed by a partner.

In other news, though I'm excited for D3, it adds another reason to buy a ps3 besides Snake IV...I'm not so sure I like who appears to be the lead's character design. Those glasses look rather...silly.

I've always heard good reviews about Disgaea, but I've never played it.
I've seen some screenshots, but that doesn't really motivate me into buying it.

Heh, thats a game for my list to get right beside of MGS4, DMC4, the newest Ratchet and Clank, FF13, and Folk Lore.

I actually picked up a PS3 just for Disgaea 3. XD
