If you are like me and an [insert phrase covering the almost psychopathic want/NEED to read all anime/manga/light novels written by CLAMP] Fanperson, you probably already knew this, but for those of you that are INSANE! I am telling you.
It will air, for us Americans, on Saturday/Sunday at approximately 1:30 A.M. on adult swim, (channel 63, for cable where i live) and if you live in a HOLE, i will give a basic telling of the plot:
In year 2010 on August 10, The Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered the Japanese with their Scientifically advanced "Knightmare Frames." (in other words, big fighting robots) in less than a month Japanese fell to the Britannians. and they had their countries name, their names, and their dignity stripped from them. 11 is the number used to reffer to ALL of Japan, but, a group of terrorists rise up against the Empire with Lelouch (the only male anime character keaton finds drool-worthy) as their leader. The majority of the fighting takes place in the Shinjuku Ghetto.

IMPORTANT CHARACTER INFORMATION!
Lelouch(as said earlier the only anime character keaton finds drool-worthy):
Lelouch is introduced in the first episode of the series to be a student of the Ashford Academy high school, where he is a member of its student council. A brilliant thinker who is quite talented at chess, he lives with his younger sister, Nunnally, at a house situated within the compounds of Ashford Academy, where they are looked after by the Ashford family.
When Lelouch is seventeen years old, he is swept within the conflict between the Britannia Empire and the pockets of resistance which oppose it, when he accidentally boards a truck being used by Japanese resistance operatives to transport a Britannian military secret contained within a capsule, thought to be poison gas, after being attracted by a mysterious silhouette which had formed over its surface. In the subsequent chaos, during which Lelouch reunites with Suzaku Kururugi and the capsule bursts to reveal a mysterious green-haired girl Lelouch is accosted by Britannian soldiers, who attempt to shoot him, but is stopped from doing so by C.C, who comes between them and is subsequently shot in the head. Shocked by the chaos and death surrounding him, Lelouch is helpless and at a loss at what to do. However, C.C. suddenly touches his hand and subsequently transports him into a mysterious plane, within which she proposes to him a contract, offering him an ability she calls the "Power of the King", the mythical power of Geass, which allows him to make people completely obey his orders, which he accepts and binds himself to. He later uses this power to order the Britannian soldiers to kill themselves in the name of Lelouch Vi Britannia, after which he begins his rebellion against the Empire and killed his half-brother, Clovis, after extracting information of his mother, Marianne's murder.
Suzaka:
Suzaku was introduced in the first episode of the series where he was a soldier from the Britannia army. While searching for the "poison bomb", he met his childhood friend, Lelouch Lamperouge. He refused to carry out an order to kill Lelouch, which lead to him being shot by his officer. However, he was saved by a broken pocket watch, a momento from his deceased father, which he always kept with him. he wants to change and improve the Empire from within, to show that his father's death was not in vain. This is because, as Suzaku claims, achieving results by wrong or illegal methods is meaningless. In a twist of fate, Suzaku becomes the pilot of Lancelot during the Shinjuku ghetto debacle due to the fact that it was 'experimental', resulting in the Knights not being an option. After Lloyd had Suzaku tested if he could even pilot a Knightmare Frame, it was revealed that based on his evaluation score, Suzaku was a top-class operator. After the incident, he became a scapegoat for the death of Prince Clovis in episode three, in a plan apparently engineered by Margrave Jeremiah Gottwald. He was acquitted, and enrolled into Ashford Academy, by Euphemia's suggestion. His rank within the military was initially Private, but he was later promoted to Warrant Officer by Cornelia when she first arrived in Japan. Despite his position in the Britannian Army, he still regards Lelouch as a friend.
Nanaly
Formerly known as Nunnally Vi Britannia, Nunnally was 87th in line of succession to the Britannia Throne before she and her brother were exile to Japan as political prisoners [1]. She is Lelouch's younger sister who is wheelchair-bound due to old bullet wounds on her legs, and blind due to psychological trauma both while witnessing the brutal murder of her mother, Marianne Vi Britannia. Lelouch believes that she may be able to see again someday. After the confrontation of Lelouch with the Emperor of Britannia about the murder of their mother, both Lelouch and Nunnally were sent to Japan as political trade. They then went on to live in Kururugi Residence where she first met Suzaku Kururugi.
After Britannia invades Japan, Lelouch hides their identity in fear of their safety and changes their surname to Lamperouge. They then seek help from Marianne's old allies, the Ashford family, who kept their identity a secret and allows the two siblings to live in a building on campus to accommodate her disabilities. Nunnally attends Ashford Academy's middle school and is friends with Lelouch's classmates, particularly with Shirley. She is very kindhearted and calls the Elevens "Japanese people".
She is also the reason why Lelouch wants to revolt against Britannia. Lelouch wants to build a better world for Nunnally. In episode 24, despite The Black Knights were on the verge of winning, Lelouch abandons them to rescue Nunnally after learning of her being kidnapped by V.V.
In R2, it seems that everyone in Ashford Academy does not remember her existence, only remember Lelouch "has" Rolo as his younger brother.
