A new tv show on Fox monday night with Sarah and her son, John Connor, the female Terminator named "Cameron", and a bunch of evil Terminators trying to kill John Connor and his mom, as well as an evil female t-1000 is after some computer called "The Turk", who's AI the evil terminators need to build Skynet to eventually create Cyberdyne Industries and the Terminator project is now being seen.

They had an episode where the female Terminator, desingated "Cameron Philips" is in John Connor's class, and the substitute teacher turns out to be one of the evil Terminators to assassinate John Connor and his mom. "Cameron" has been sent to save John Connor and his mom, and poses as John's "sister." I mean, if you are being chased around by an evil cyborg bent on killing you, and this hot girl who happens to be a cyborg rams the bad Terminator with her "borrowed" truck, and says, "Come with me, if you want to live!", would you get into the truck with the female cyborg, or take your chances with a terminator who is programmed to destroy you and hunt you down?

TV is getting worse and worse with this trend.

Well since the Female Terminator happens to be River Tam from firefly (sorry Huge Firefly fan.) I would hesitate and ask "You're not going to put a bullet in my brain pan are you?" Then jump in when I realize that my life could end soon anyways.

Yeah, the trio (Cameron, Sarah, and son John) travelled through time and they were naked as clothing and weapons don't get transported through the time machine portal thing. Cameron beats up three drunk punks and steals their clothes and their car.

It was revealed that Cameron (the female terminator) killed the human girl she has gained the appearance of. Her eyes actually glow blue instead of red, and she can do voice mimicry as well, impersonating John Connor's voice, and the voice of the guy she killed that was following her and the Connors. The evil terminator impersonated Sarah's voice to lure John out as well. is Voice mimicry a standard program for all Terminators?

Perhaps not. I know that the first Terminator movie starts us off with a T-800, and the second a T-1000. If you go back through the generations of Terminators you'll probably find constraints on technology, which limit features; especially when prioritizing for the purpose of said Terminator. I can't recall if the T-800 series ever mimicked another's voice, but I imagine that, at the very least, they can record and replay sound.

But, in the case of the T-1000 and T-X, voice mimicry is very practical and advantageous, with or without their shape-shifting ability. So it would make a lot more sense to include this feature, as far as these two are concerned.

The T-800 had voice mimicry to sound like Young John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day to talk to the foster mother of John Connor, whom the T-1000 was impersonating (the t-1000 poses as a cop he killed, and he killed John's foster parents (by stabbing the father through the milk cartoon.).
