I don't know if any of you subscribe to DDI or.. have seen teh bard preview from various sundry methods, however I have seen it and I have to say "THEY RUINED D&D! THEY KILLED THE MOST SACRED OF COWS! THEY MADE BARDS A CLASS PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY PLAY!"

Ok silly rant over, but its a neat jack of all trades, Leader class that feels strongly different than Cleric, Warlords and Even the ARtificer preview.

Hey, I played a Bard in 3.5E! It was a good character, why does everyone hate on it?

My tactics included:

1) Singing;
2) Running;
3) Running while singing;
4) Singing while running;
5) Composing epic laments about how everyone else was more useful in combat than me.

Nah I'm just kidding, I min/max'd her to keep up:

Paladin2/Bard4/Spellsword1/AbjurantChampion2/EldritchKnight1/SublimeChord1/AbjurantChampion3/SublimeChord1/EldritchKnight5

If that means anything to any of you :mrgreen:

I had lots of fun composing songs and poetry for her. Only ever made it to level 13 though (And 14 was a big level up for her :cry: )
