Dante's Inferno

I just played about five minutes of it, and two things are clear.
One, they seem to have borrowed heavily from the Ninja Gaiden school of combat.
Two, the game no where near follows the storyline of the actual book.
That all said and done... if they keep me amused I wont cry bloody murder. After all, if the first Pirates of the Caribbean taught me anything, it was that writers pulling things out of their butts CAN occasionally strike that gold turd.

Ever play God of War? Cause from what I've seen from the demo and what my friends of said... it looks exactly like God of War. Big time.
That said, it looks like an amusing game.
If nothing else cause of the bad breast jokes that one could make about it. Incessantly.

I was never a big fan of the game when it was announced and after playing the demo I'm happy I didn't get the game. The plot was basically revolving around a knight trying to save the naked big breasted spirit of his hot smoking dead wife.

Hmmm... Knight journeys to the underworld to whisk his love back from the force of darkness... Yep. This is clearly a ripoff of Ghosts and Goblins here.
Honestly though I'm surprised they cast Dante as the hero. He's a total wimp in the Divine Comedy and would have been wolf or lion chow if it weren't for the collective might of Virgil and Beatrice guiding his lost soul through the afterlife. Honestly they should have had them as the main characters.
From what I hear, they are making sequels based off the other books, Purgatorio and Paridiso. I take it Dante is eventually going to have to fight God... =P

Fighting god is nothing... in the first ten minutes of the game, you kill death.
Yes, I just said that. You KILL Death. With his own scythe, even. And now be-scythed, you charge into the underworld to make it quite a bit emptier.
I'm having a bunch of fun right now, even if the plot dosent seem to go beyond much of 'excuse for warrior to go to hell and kill things.'

Nice. Who knew Death would be so easy to kill eh? So what does Virgil do in the game? I heard he is in there from the videos on YouTube but I have yet to really hear his purpose.

To say stuff.
He kind of just gives commentary.

Well that stinks. If anybody should be the hero of the game it should be him!

Dear Electronic Arts, Could you please make a follow up of a Fighting Game based onf Machavelli's the Prince?(P.s. I would ask for a Shooter based on Atlas Shrugged but Bioshock already exists)

Sounds like the making of an excellent game to me.
No, seriously. I'd play it, since I saw this from the demo. :o
