Apparently it's Y2K-like in nature so for those that it may affect you may want to avoid using your Playstation 3 until something substantial is said about this glitch. Read that article though and make your own judgments, I just felt that a friendly warning should be sounded.

So THAT'S why Heavy Rain wasn't working for me! And all deleted all my saves. T__T

Well, I guess it's been fixed now. At least I believe that's what the message on the Playstation blog means. Seems the problem came from the older systems thinking this was a leap year.

I'm just glad I saw the messages about this online before I booted mine up.

That really stinks. I would be none too happy if my saves got deleted. Speaking of, I should probably back my PS3 up again soon...

Hehe, My PS3 died, but not because of that. ^^" Still it isnt as bad as Microsofts red ring of death.

I actually havent turned my ps3 on is a year and my last update was jan 08
