Despicable Me is about a supervillan named Gru. Gru has these yellow alien guys, called Minions. His main rival in the villainy business is Vector, who uses shrink rays. Gru eventually finds three girls on his doorstep, and these sisters get to go to a carnival, and ride rides with Gru.
