Have you ever listened to the song before you accuse me, by Eric Clapton? The first four verses are very apt here. Not only did you make a mistake (it's grammar, not grammer), but the mistake wasn't a grammatical error. Grammar involves the structure of sentences and such stuff, not the spelling, as far as I know. If his mistake was big, yours was gigantic.

You come into the room with a Coca-Cola, you set it down, you go to get a newspaper. The child comes in, grabs the drink, and starts to drink. You say "Gimme that! Didn't I just tell you not to drink it?"
