I liked these... Though, I'd expect some Greek or Roman style attire for a priestess in a foreign pantheon. ^_^; And what's the legend of Aphrodite? ^o^

The fraternity one was cute... But I guess the Dean has alot to learn about punishments. XD Doesn't he know that becoming a bishi is grand? *_*

She was born when Zeus castrated Kronos and threw the [censored] into the sea. She was born from the foam created by it. Apart from that she was married to Hephaistos and had an affair with Ares and was on the side of the trojans during the trojan war. She was the goddess of something unspecified connected with love and lust (though all those things had their other lesser gods who were in charge of it making it uncertain what exactly she was supposed to be the goddess of).

EDIT: This was a reply to Nikkou, written before reading the caption. Still it pretty much sums it up for those who don't know about her.

Yeah, I know alot about Greek mythology... But there are other tales of how Aphrodite came to be. Regardless, I was just wondering what the legend of Aphrodite had to do with Japanese shrines and priestesses. Yup... You can see that I have no life. ^_^;

My version was the Hesiod one. The Illiad, the Odyssee and Hesiod's Tesagoni are the works forming the basis of our understanding of greek mythology and all myths that conflicts with these are defined as variants from the norm.

I think it would have to do AFTER Aphrodite is created. Basically, her recruitment of preiestsses

But, Japanese? O.o I'm sure that, even if they were in Japan, they'd wear traditional Greek or Roman outfits. ^_^;
