Other than that, this is just one of those things that demonstrates some of reality.

Well, how better to practice, by having images to practice on? ;p You don't even have to submit anything that you make until you're satisfied. What you could do, is use the images that you really like, give it a caption, and find someone who can point out what to work on. Once you think your captioning ability has leveled up enough, you can make them for the general public. =^.^=
