Heh, "Hormones" is great. That's such a hackneyed explaination. I love your take on it. The Xia one is awesome too. :p

Fantastic captions! Ray of Hope and Where You Left Off were amazingly good and extremely touching. The others were good too -- keep up the good work!

Excellent work! You really outdid yourself on a couple of these. I love how you work with serious themes, something easily overlooked when dreaming up stuff like this. The cliff one was very powerful; I loved the last line. And the ending of Camille and Clifford had a good impact, too. You really did convey excellent emotion. You've got a talent. :)

Mrgh, I'm never a fan of willing transformations, but I admit you tell the tales about as well as they could be, although that 'nature' one I didn't like as much.

Damn, I love that Ray of Hope pic, I just wish it didn't have the 'fetish vulnerable chick' on it. ;D

Woops... I forgot to respond to some posts last time. ^_^; (New captions below if you want to skip any of the responses I made.)

Kalm wrote:Will you give me your captions hands in marriage?

I don't know... The father doesn't even know that I gave birth to any. XD;; (Which is to say that I was inspired to make captions based off of copyrighted images without permission. Which takes their image and my idea to make captions.) I guess that makes them [add male dogs barking here]. So you want to marry [add male dogs barking here]? ^_^;

I dunno... I might. Right now I have other commitments that I'm trying to pull through on though. *_*;

Gwen wrote:You really did convey excellent emotion. You've got a talent. :)

Er, um... Thanks. But I still have my own doubts about myself. ^o^

Arkain wrote:Mrgh, I'm never a fan of willing transformations, but I admit you tell the tales about as well as they could be, although that 'nature' one I didn't like as much.

"Nature" one? Um... The one about the guy getting in touch with nature? Well, for that one, I was playing on the idea where people believe that females are closer to nature. And in order to accomplish that he would have to go through menstruation, since it's a cycle tied with life and reproduction just like the earth, weather and the circle of life have cycles that make life possible.

Unless you meant another caption...

And I thank everyone for their comments. I'm trying my best to make captions for people with different interests, so I try to focus on and express different things. So I apologize if I don't have alot in certain areas, and if I've missed anything so far it's likely that I'll eventually get to it. Of course, if you're looking fro specific kinds of captions as soon as possible, I'm more than likely to respond to requests in the caption request thread. XD

-----

Okay, now for some new captions. I don't know if I did well or not because I was distracted by my work on a page where all of my captions will be found, and also by fixing up some of my ancient captions because their sizes were, um... Quite large in bytes for their sizes. XD Ah, well... Enjoy!

My take on a different field of transformation. Inspired by fact but purely fictional. ^o^

I'm a sucker for believing that, should someone expect death and they have time to think about, they would likely reflect on things they normally wouldn't. Question things, question life.

I had accidentally saved another caption over this one by mistake. ^_^; So I had to redo it, and I think I strayed on the technical side of things rather than the emotional side the second time around... I'm never good at doing things over again; it has to be a spontaneous or random thing for me to do things at my best. <.<;

This one's not to be confused with one that has a gender-biased theme. If I didn't express the message clear enough in the caption, I'll tell you here: it's essentially perceptional and circumstancial. ^o^

This one's more or less a different approach compared to the caption above about the puzzle. It's more or less follows the expression about the grass being greener on the other and all that.

Tomorrow I should have some of my ancient captions up here... Fourteen out of the twenty because six of them were added to the new MSF site while the others got deleted. ^_^; (These are non-HTML captions. Classic images with text on them. ;p)

Oh, I think all of us doubt our own abilities. Creative people are often their own worst critics. I know I am. You certainly did well here. What fact inspired the acoustics one? That's got my curiosity piqued. I also found myself identifying, a little with the "Pepper" one; it offers an idea for the close bonds people often form with their pets. And I have to say that if something ever happens to Kitty, I might just be tempted to go the same route if it were offered.... And the book one was just something. Really, really different. When I came across that image on Moeboard, I thought there must be a story in there somewhere. And you found it. :) It was also interesting the way you played with perceptions in the other two. Paticularly the last one, which really harkens back to the human tendency to not be satisfied with what we have; so often, we get what we think we want only to decide we want something else instead. Overall, good quality creations.

Oooh. Very nice.

My favorites were the Soul mate caption [kittyside], the Grass is greener caption [sameoldsonganddance] and the Puzzle caption. [Pieceoflife]

Very good stories. I like these more than the normal ones, because the characters in them give actual thought either towards remaining the opposite gender forever, or afterwards towards their decision. Instead of just having a short and sweet "I was turned into a girl and suddenly love it all the time," you have a person who thinks about the differences between the two genders, such as things a guy or girl could never experience, knowing that the mysteries of the female or male gender were short-lived if you spent a time as that gender.

The fact that cells in our body can be affected in different ways by sound. I don't know if it's being used yet, but I remember that ultrasonic waves could be used to disorient someone, even to the point of vomitting. The show that I watched used a riot as an example of a good way for it to be used. Another show I watched several years back also showed evidence of cells changing or responding to very specific sounds, or just vibrating (which was usually the case). Also, as we all know, most acoustic therapy comes from sounds being used to help people relax and relieve tension. And then there's how ultrasound can stop internal bleeding in ways that other techniques and methods can't. Here's the best resource that I could find offhand.

And the book one was just something. Really, really different. When I came across that image on Moeboard, I thought there must be a story in there somewhere. And you found it. :)

I find stories in just about everything, so it's nothing special. ^_^; My brain's hardwired to perceive and conceive ideas all day long. It's probably my greatest distraction from being able to focus on other things. ~.~

And thank you guys again for your comments... It's very uplifting. ^_^ But now...

---------

Retrocaptions of DOOMAGE! XD Now you'll see the first captions that I ever made. If you're faint of heart or weak of bladder, 'tis best that you evacuate post haste. *_*; And I apologize beforehand for two things: one is that the bytes of some of these things will be humongous (and I couldn't do anything about it with what I have right now); the other is that I'll likely treat these as a trip through memory lane than really introducing them. XD;; Oh, and six of my non-HTML captions managed to stay on the MSF site; these fourteen are the ones that got deleted. Now, without further ado... <.<;

Ah... I had scanned this image. XD And then editted the crease away that was on the paper. 'Twas fun. ^_^;

This was the first caption, I think, that inspired me to write a whole story based on an image. Unfortunately I never got around to it. ~.~

This one I made for an alliteration caption contest. Which not many joined. ^_^; Probably three people, including myself... -_-

This small image, and even smaller text to match, is a good reflection of my concern for the bytes of these things. While the image was that size where I found it, I could have made the text area bigger... But I didn't want it to be too many bytes. <.<;

This one was actually based on personal experience. Well, except the transformation and girlfriend part. ^_^; But I enjoyed basketball, but it eventually lost its sparkle because the players weren't trying to have fun but rather compete in ways that affected the ego and social status. ~.~ And when it got to the point where I sat out during gym activities I noticed that the girls were having fun, talking about this and that, and not really taking it seriously. Nevertheless, they were having fun.

First of a series that I hoped to continue until I made three captions. Well, it was about witchcraft, so... ;p And I personally liked the ideas behind it, because hearts of gold are not only uncommon but sometimes hard to find/detect as well.

This one was probably the first I ever made to "attack" TF/TG cliches, and even anime cliches. I still don't know why character and real people alike have such a hard time communicating.

I thought that this one was hilarious when I made it. XD;; I got the image from one of many captured images using a WebTV some years ago. I remembered it and decided to use it... Like only my gutter-brain could. ^_^;

My first attempt with an Ovalisk, something short and sweet. This was back when Ovalisks weren't so structured in a scientific system as they are now... They were just uber-cute and ready to make you match. ;p

This was the first version... I had to later use a different image, but I don't know where that one is. ;-/ But I think the content is acceptable these days... The naughty parts are covered and the image isn't even provocative in nature. Also, the date I uploaded it to my Angelfire account is the date that I joined MSF... Huh. I thought I had only made one at the time. XD

Whoa... I made this one on my second day. XD Oh, and like the above caption this one was also something that I had scanned. It was my first caption that focused on mental alteration.

A few days after that one I made this one... Also scanned... And it's not very good in any way. ^_^; I had only wanted to use it because I thought she was cute and, well, my love of faeries compelled me. <.<; It's otherwise my smallest caption, too. I think

My very first caption... I made it even before I registered at MSF. Looking over it after so long reminded me that this caption, the image once featured on the old MSF site, was what finally prompted me to even look at the messageboard. I had only been everywhere else before. So, basically, I had come to MSF with captions blazing. ^_^; But I really like this one... I think the concept and the name of the caption fit perfectly with the core of my soul. But I won't bother anyone with details... I think it speaks for itself. *Blushes*

Last, but not least, a cute one of sorts. I'm not sure where the idea came from, but... Eh. They were too cute to pass up. ^o^;

Woo... And there you have it! Call 911 while you're still able, if you made it this far. XD And if you find them lacking, part of the reason why, as you'll discover, is because I was concerned about the size of them byte-wise. Those last two were in the four and five hundred kilobyte range. @_@ So I tried to keep what I wrote as short as I could, so I had to bail on some ideas that would take too many words just to explain it and other such stuffs.

-----

And now a bonus! I have to make this an even-though-odd fifteen caption post! XD;;

This is a silly little slideshow I made using captioned images back in March of '05. *_* Images nabbed from a Dragon Half game. And I made some edits to the elf guy in the tree in some of the last panels (or whatever they're called).

-----

Phew... That's alot of work. @_@; But I hope you enjoy my ancient stuffs. I'll be posting back here sometime tomorrow with some new captions of doomage. ^_^;

Very cute.

I especially love the sister's death caption., and the Informed in the Infirmary caption.

And the new caption [the dragon] was really nice as well.
