Neko brings up her hand. "One, they do have a teleportation spell. And two, we DO know where they are attacking! The local military base/nuclear power plant."

[Xiao]

"Sorry, I don't know this town very well, it is so big..." Xiao replied, "and secondly I don't know where one of those are so my statement remains valid."

[Teddy]

(Yeah. Sorry 'bout disappearing like that. Again. <_<)

He kissed Elise back and smiled. "You'd better come back in one piece, or I'd never forgive myself for not being able to protect you."

Genno sat up. "I'm going doctor. I don't care if it'll kill me, but these crazy... Things need to be stopped." He stood up, wiggling his fingers. "I don't know HOW to repay you Doc. I really don't. If you need ANYTHING in the future... Just ask."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"You may not care if it kills you, but I certainly do! Earlier today, I thought you were dead once, and it was one of the most terrible feelings I've ever experienced! I don't want it to be for real, this time!" Compulsively, she put her arms around him, holding on firmly. "It makes me happy that you want to protect me, but... but not at the expense of yourself...."

[Teddy]

(Yeah. I've edited my post now, and I feel REALLY stupid for just skimming through the thread. Again, sorry I disappeared on ya guys. RL just.. Blows chunks at the moment.)

"I don't think I'm going to suffer the same fate as last time... I know how these things work, and I'm sure I can dodge a pencil next time. Besides, I'm not going to be much help to the doctor here." His arms slowly moved around Elise, and his chin rested on her head.

Mmm... why does this feel so perfect, so right? This... fits so well. Like... like we were made to do this.... She cuddled her head under his chin, into the little space where it curved into the neck there. "Only if the doctor says you can, okay? I... just don't want to see you hurt any more...."

The doctor nods. "You can go, then. As for saying you'll do anything, well..." He smiles to himself, and Pinoko promptly kicks him in the shin. He makes a face, and breathes in and out. "I'll be nice, and won't hold you too that. I've already got what I was looking for. As for where YOU are looking for, I do have a map of the city."

He takes a map from a drawer, and hands it to Genno. "It's right here, the big spot marked 'Power Plant. No Kaiju allowed.' I wish you the best of luck, and if you fail, well...I'll stock up on catnip."

He nods to the group, and Pinoko follows him into the back. As he leaves, he grabs some painkiller for his shin.

[Teddy]

"Doctor... Thank you." He folded the map and placed it within a pocket on his jeans. "Elise... I..." Genno paused, as if searching for the words. "I'm glad I found you."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise nodded, quietly. "Me too," she said. "I'm so very glad that I found you.... You're- you're the best thing to happen to me in a very long time...."

And so, the heroes eventually used the map to approach the Nuclear power plant/base, and had to figure out how to approach. Including which exit, since there is one for each cardinal direction.
