The maid shook her head. "Whatever you say mistress."

He opens the letter and begins reading...
Finishing, he folds it again and looks at the girl.
"Well... thats certainly something... So your my personal maid, hmm? Well I hope you can be less my servant and more my friend. Money is at stake here... and money tends to bring out the ugly side of people. And when things get ugly it would be nice knowing there is at least someone I can talk to who is not caught up in all the scheming..."
"Whats your name..?"
He would get around to asking about the... other odd things in the letter later. As for the changes, he manages not to notice them while his attention is on the cute maid.
The maid blinked. "Emilia." Jacob would find himself thinking of the maid more as an equal than as a servant.
"Is there anything you wish to do sir?" She asked after a moment's wait.
Shadowmaster wrote:Jim raises an eyebrow at the strange sensation he gets upon putting on the ring. Hr turns to his maid, whom he hadn't really talked to since meeting her. "Do you know anything about all of this magic jazz that the old man wrote about in this letter?" he asked her. If she does know, then I may get some useful info. If nothing else, it's at least worth asking.
A strange, conflicted look crossed the maid's face for a moment. She hesitated to speak for a few seconds before managing to state, through trembling lips, "Yes, but I can't tell you anything unless you ask the right questions sir." It seemed to take a good deal out of her to manage that much.
Kaizer wrote:"Uhh... yeah..." replies Emil as he puts the ring on. Since there's nothing else to-do he thought of starting some small talk with his cute maid. "Soo..." he said as he scratched his head. "How long have you worked here?
"A while." The maid answered, after attempting, and failing to think of any substantitve number.
"What is your strategy going to be? That is assuming you don't mind me asking?"
Amanda Aerina Adams wrote:"Thank you miss. So have you always worked in this mansion?"
*Eric found himself staring at the lovely maid and blushing, he then took a sip of Dr. Pepper and turned away covering his blushing face.*
'She is one lovely maid. What was that weird feeling, I just had. That was really weird.'
"Yes." The maid answered sedately.
Alissa of Someday wrote:/Reading the note, Will pauses...and then starts over, reading it again./
"This...this is ludicrous!"
/Lapsing into silence for a moment, he speaks once more./
"Then again...Everything here is...Like right out of a book..."
/Stills thinking apparently, he takes the pencil out of the box...and inspects it critically, before turning to the maid./
"What do you know about this...?"
/He pauses./
"Any of it. Or all of it, maybe."
/He motions to the pencil, and the note./
Will's maid frowned, "I know; but... there are certain things I can't say." she hesitated. It seemed even this indirect disobediance was hard for the woman.
Nephilim wrote:"You've got to be kidding me." Samuel mutters the moment he finishes reading the letter. Magic? Manipulation? Of all the things! "I can't believe those guys forced me into this. I could have been doing something productive.... Or at least something not involving stupid stuff like this."
He grabs the box, plucks the ring out of it, tosses the now empty container to his maid, and lets out a long, weary sigh.
"Well, let the game begin. Uh, by the way, your name...." His hand rises to point towards the maid. "I didn't catch it before. What is it?"
The maid immediately bent to recover the tossed box. "I could escort you out it that is your wish sir. And I am Frances, if it pleases you."
