As noted the basic premise for all characters is that they are enslaved. As such edits will be done.

Both of your characters are currently 'employed' by one of Drizzy's friends. By employed I mean life time indentured servitude. Luck can only take you both so far after having landed in the remains of Celestia during a recent planar flux. The native angels don't take well to un-invited guests, not after what happened with H. So you and the other random arrivals were rather close to getting killed off, however instead you and all the other fluxed arrivals were saved by the intervention of Kattie-Drie. Kattie-Drie was the soul of a former hero who had became of new very powerful class as a result of the flux. Due to the flux there was a general lack of workers/souls in the heavens due to Angels/deities general distrust of the new prinny system that had evolved from the remains of the old soul systems. Since most of the new souls arrived as prinnies they were not accepted by the upper deities which lead to large lack of work force, as there were only a handful of Angels left since the war so existing souls were called on to help, Kattie becoming one of the most powerful.

So in short, you’re in both in the remains of heaven, and are alive because Kattie-Drie convinced the other locals to use you for labor instead of killing you where you stood. As such your lives are in her hands. She generally has you perform generic duties, but doesn't care what you do in your off time as long as you don't cause trouble.
