You've received notification that you've been selected as one of the possible heirs to the Sampson Estate. Jeffrey Sampson, the famous multi-millionair recently died. Per his will 6 to seven contestants have been selected by lottery to stay in his countryside mansion for a week. During that time they will have to discuss the distribution of Sampson's fortunes for themselves. At the end of the week, the fortune will go however it has been decided between those six people.
What people don't know until they arrive is this. Inside the grounds of the mansion, people change to match their actions. If you act submissive and clean your room a lot; you'll become a maid or a butler. Putting on woman's clothing will make a woman. The mansion is quite large and has numerous opportunities to trap one's rivals. The mansion may contain other traps as well. The changes are relatively small though, and a significant number of changes will be needed to completely transform an opponent.
In essence, you try to manipulate your opponents into acting in such a way while avoiding the general traps. Call them on the action, if its legitimate, they change a little to match the cliches associated with that action. The victor would be decided by whoever retained the capability to make a claim for the inheritance the longest.
Also, repeating an action won't have the same effect. So wearing an outfit could change one opponent a little; but it wouldn't continue to change them until they took the outfit off.
Lastly, every contestant has to choose between three items, a pen, that when used to doodle, will invariably make predictions about the environment, a ring that enables its wearer to differentiate between truth and lies, and a choker that enables its wearer to speak with incredible elegance and conviction.
Character profiles should contain the following info:
Name:
Age: (Must be at least 17)
Gender:
Brief Backstory: (Career/education and current situation are all that's really necessary.)
Anyone interested.
Edit: Oops, meant to put this in the free-form Rp section, not the dueling sub-section. If some mod would be so kind as to move this I would be eternally grateful.
