The arcade slash comic store was bustling with the usual activity: assorted people playing on their favorite machines, talking at an old bar table cluttered with comics, or playing the latest japanese card game at one of the game tables. Everything was as it always had been... Comics lined the walls, and the sounds of quarters sliding into the coin slots of the machines was mixed with the rampant racket of the various working machines. Indeed, it was another normal day in the game shop... Except for the peculiar machine sitting in the corner. "RAMJAP" was the only sign of identification on the monotone grey box, and the thing obviously had no power; the screen was blank, and there was no power cord. The most peculiar thing of all was the fact that the owner hadn't ordered it, and nobody could move it from its spot.
Chulalongkorn "Chu" Yao-Yun frowned as he scratched his bare back, eyeing the new machine from in front of his favorite Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo cabinet. He had just finished wiping the floor with some upstart new kid who thought he was God's gift to Street Fighter when he had noticed the grey console - and he was perplexed. What was the thing -for-, anyways?
