[Mistress Guendolen]

(Okay, I haven't exactly decided which way I'm going to go yet. But I'll post when I do. Right now I'm simply hoping that Genno stays in his current form in the course of this scenario. It's not in my hands, of course, but Elise will be very upset if her new boyfriend becomes a catgirl on her before they get to do anything together.)

(Don't worry, Genno will not get catgirlled unless he gives me specific permission, or requests it. He has what's known as a "PC shield". Ditto with Elise and Daniel.)

(Okay, good to know. I just didn't know whether or not he said anything about that, which is why I said the decision was out of my hands. Nice to know that as of now, that's not the case.)

[Xiao]

Daniel entered his appartment and walked over to the built in book case. He grabbed several of the fake just jackets and began to fit the books into the proper ones, That would be very embarrassing, he thought as he worked, to have my whole project blown because of a minor error. And I should give that girl some time to move forward before following her, I can't really let her go out there alone.

After a few minutes of inserting the books into the sleeves, he looked over his work. The Origin of Species, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, only a complete loony would glance through his books for pleasure reading, and then he would be able to use that as a defence against any claims of him being a wizard they might have. Well, time to make sure everything is alright. he thought, pulling out the map that she had used. He could remember the rough location of where the needle and pendulum indicated, and finding someone in such an odd form of clothing shouldn't be too hard to find. He walked to his closet and grabbed his robe.

He tucked it away under his arm, grabbing his staff with the other. He walked out the door and into the elevator, pressing the 1 button as he did so. Soon afterwards, the doors slid shut and the compartment began to descend the shaft to the ground floor.

Elise stared out the window, after the path where the dart had taken. Even with her dowsing ability, finding something that small in a place so large would be akin to looking for a needle in a haystack.... Especially as she had no idea as to how far it might have traveled.
But the location on the map... that was viable. She had no idea what was actually going on here, or what she would do once she got there, but well, she'd played it by ear before. "Just think of it as another mission," she told herself.
And so she went to get herself ready. She put on a fuller skirt- the a-line was more casual, but kind of inhibited her leg movements- and flat, if thick-soled shoes. Grabbing together her usual "kit," she made sure her brooch was pinned to the front of the blouse she wore, within easy reach if need be, then took up a long umbrella, one she'd made one or two special... modifications to. "All right. I think I'm set.... Let's just hope I'm not too late for whatever I need to do." Taking a deep breath, she took up her keys and set out, locking the apartment door behind her. And not realizing until she was well on her way that she'd forgotten to put on her customary gloves.

Daniel stepped outside the building and into an alleyway, as he entered, he unfolded his robe and slipped it on over his clothes, buttoning a few clasps to seal the torso. Alright, hopefully this won't need more than a few low grade spells, if I'm lucky I'll only need this one. he thought before making sure there was no one headed towards the alley he was in. He lifted the hood on his robe up onto his head and chanted,

Furta ars unadverto.
Visio umbra.

The first thing one would notice, is that a shadow seemed to fall onto his face, causing it to appear completely black, the only thing one would be able to see would be the reflection of a street light off of his glasses. Second, one would notice that, they wouldn't be able to recognize him. If one were to see something like his staff or hear his voice, they would not be able to connect them to him unless they were fairly skilled in perception, also they would not find his appearance odd or think it unheard of to have a pitch black face while he was around. "All right, now to buisness..." he said to himself before hurrying down the alley in attempts to keep a distance between himself and Elise to where he could intervene if needed yet not be noticed. Even if she wouldn't think his appearance odd, stalking was still a crime.

(No dramatic arrival for you, you can act in the S.U.C.K. thread if you want to intervene. And, this being a city with it's own Sentai team or three, a pitch black face is probably NOT odd!)

As Xiao was returning, he stepped into a small alley and quickly lowered his veil spell and took off his robe. He was able to reach the apartment building without any problem and without getting too lost.

Daniel entered his apartment looking very tired, the caffeine had worn off and the amount of energy he had used in the past few hours was starting to catch up to him. He put his now folded robe in the back of his closet and let his staff lean against the door. After a hot shower, he lay on his bed, his glasses resting on a small table at his side. Exciting first day, he thought as he lie above the sheets, not what I expected, I have yet to meet a single normal person. At least it's not boring...

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief when they finally got back to the apartment. It was late- dark by now. They hadn't eaten dinner, but she wasn't hungry. She was too tired, her nerves too stretched. A shower and bed sounded wonderful right now.... But before that, she had something she was wondering about. "Genno?" she asked quietly. "What happened today... the fight in the plant. How... how much do you remember?..." Do you remember being possessed? What happened then? Did- did you hear me say how I feel about you?...

[Teddy]

"Well.. The last thing that didn't feel like a dream was.. Well it was when I got that gigantic spear thing through my chest... Then everything got really hot, even for me. The flames danced around me, and couldn't move... I probably woulda been consumed if... If.." Genno pauses for a moment, searching for the words. "If I hadn't kept focused on you. Next thing I know, the flames are gone, and I'm really tired.. But you were there, and it wasn't so bad."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"So you don't remember the fight? About... you said you were focused on me." Her voice had almost a little tinge of wonder, of how he said that she was the one who got him through it, in the end. This... was almost humbling. But... "Did you- could you- only see me, or could you hear me too?..." This was so important, if he hadn't heard her, she had to tell him. For some reason she was nervous, now. Buit she couldn't wait any longer.

[Teddy]

Genno paused for a moment, thinking. "No.. I don't really remember the fight.. But I do remember wanting to get back to you... I don't know what I would do if I lost you." He takes a deep breath. "I.. I love you Elise."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise's eyes few wide. For a second she stopped breathing. "I... I..." She stared at him. "That... that was what I... during the fight, I said- I was trying to see if you remembered- I love you, too!"

[Teddy]

Genno's typical grin creeped across his face. "Really? Then.. I guess it IS fate or somethin'.. But we can worry about destiny later, can't we? For now, we need ta sleep, rest and relax." And with that, he pulled Elise into a quick kiss.
