Scientia bites her lip, and strokes her chin. "Hm, nearest I could think of is an EMP pulse. You wouldn't have happened to be exposed to any electrical discharges recently have you? No, wait, you HAD to have been exposed to one. You've got rapidly healing calcification of skeletal structure. Hm, it even stabalized the drop in blood minerals, or at least adapted to it. Dang, that's good. I gotta figure out how to replicate that." She begins to tap rapidly, and the monitor shifts to a different screen, this a cellular diagram. "Yup, regeneration is at a cellular level, proper apostatis. I'll need to take some actual blood samples to confirm, but I don't think you can regenerate full organs. Darn, could probably boost it, but that could end rather badly...Could probably fit it with a dang rocket to launch it into the sun in emergencies, though."

Tetsuo didn't understand some of the terms that had been used and, in specific, what she had been talking about with the rocket; but, she did have an idea about something related to her tests.

"Say... I have an idea." She began, tentatively. "I'm curious about that one thing that isn't know, and I was wondering if there's a way to monitor it while I do some activities, to see if it seems active when I do something."

Being that it was her body, and it was new, she was sort of anxious to know what she was, so she didn't feel too alien to herself.

Scientia nods. "Sure. If you want, I could bring Catnip or Rose in here. The boss is busy planning, and 'Teacher's Pet' is busy cleaning up some garbage." A trace of something dark flashes across Scientia's face for a minute when talks about the duties of Teacher's Pet. Something angry, slightly twisted, but it passes in the blink of an eye.

"Problem is, I'm not sure QUITE how to test it. I have a couple of activity lists, and a few limited ideas, but it has the potential to get slightly...'weird'."

"Well, you said that it was similar to something that Neko has, right?" Tetsuo asked, then paused as she thought about it. "Perhaps the tests should start with something that would make the conditions right, and see if something happens. Maybe it's not the catalyst that's different, but the reaction."

Scientia nods. Smarter than I gave him credit. "I was thinking the same thing. Neko's thing doesn't quite have a 'catalyst', it's mainly an innate ability. She's a natural leader, and catgirls tend to obey and follow her. If you don't have any ideas for the test, I'll buzz for Catnip."

"Yes, see if Catnip won't mind." Tetsuo said somewhat eagerly, anxious to wrap up the mystery. "If it's anything like Neko's, it probably requires that catgirls be around me, right?"

Scientia presses down on a intercom button. "Catnip, can you come towards th e lab?"

She turns to Tetsuo. "Yup. We have a few minutes. Now, here's the first test. When she gets in, I want you to..."

Scientia leans close to Tetsuo's ear. "Ask her 'Would you like to make kittens with me.'"

Catnip, after recieving the message, gets up, but then shivers. The shiver runs all across her body, and down her tail even. She clutches her paws together. "Um, Rose. I just got a really, really bad feeling..."

"Should Ah get a rad suit? This IS our resident Washu."

"Nah. Just get the medkit, sewing kit, and maybe see if the boss put in that bottomless pit."

"Yeah, but it just leads to Megatropolis. Wait, that'd actually be pretty useful."

Catnip grins to herself at the thought, and walks with a spring in her step on the way.

Tetsuo blushes furiously, understanding the implications.

"You... Y-you really think it's, um... Necessary to... Say... Say that...?" She stuttered, looking down and fidgeting all over.

Scientia's grin is so wide, that it almost looks like somebody just took a knife and chopped it like a pumpkin. It's like her face split from ear to ear. "YUP!"

There's a knock on the sliding door. "Get ready, here she comes.

The door slides open, leaving Catnip standing in the center. "Hey. What'd you want to ask me about?"

Tetsuo looked up at Catnip, blushed, then looked down. She kicked one of her feet back and forth while she poked at her fingers while she gathered up the nerve to say what she had been told was necessary to say.

"Um... Catnip, uh... W-would you..." She paused, the blurted the rest out to get it over with, saying: "Would you like to make kittens with me?"

Catnip's eyes open wide, and her tail sticks straight up. Her finger points at Tetsuo, and she makes a few incoherant noises. The look on her face is indescribable. It is complete, and utter shock, at it's purest. She gulps, and regains her composure. "Look, Tetsuo. You are cute, and I might date you sometime, but I don't think I'm really ready for that kind of stuff. I mean, sure, it'd be FUN, but we might regret it later. Um, Scientia, why are you snickering?"

Scientia is trying her best to stifle her laguhter. Unfortunately, she's failing. "That. Look. IT WAS IT!" She finally breaks, and bursts out laughing. She collapses to her knees, and is very near hyperventilating. "And the security camera caught it! So perfect. I could die happy!"

Catnip nods to herself. "I can put two and two together and make five. You told Tetsuo to say that as part of a sadistic experiment, or some sort of prank. Well." She smiles to herself. "I know exactly what to do. Tetsuo, there's a button on that console. It opens the garbage chute. I want you to find it, and press it."

Tetsuo walks over to the console indicated and, thinking that she might have found the right button, pressed it.

"This button...?" She asked, a little uncertainly. "What does it do?"

It was about then that she realized that she probably should have asked that before pressing the button.

(OOC: If Scientia will be gone for any length of time, I was wondering if you could leave a little time frame upon for Tetsuo to talk to Catnip before she gets back.)

A hole opens in the back, and Catnip starts dragging Scientia torwards it. Scientia is struggling, and appears panicked. She's muttering incoherantly, begging for forgiveness. Problem is, Catnip has her hands grabbed. Catnip explains the destination succinctly. "Opens the garbage chute."

Scientia yells to Tetsuo for mercy. "HELP ME! The garbage chute goes OUTSIDE. We are in a BLIMP! That is BAD!"

Catnip continues dragging. "Aw, be quiet. Cats always land on their feet!"

Scientia looks at hers. "But they don't always lands SOFTLY!"

Catnip is not dissuaded. "Meh. We'll get you a wheelchair." And she continues dragging Scientia closer and closer to the hole.

Tetsuo, of course, wasn't going to allow that.

"W-wait!"

She ran up to Catnip and looped her arms around one of her elbows, and tried to stand her ground.

"I know the prank wasn't nice, but... But..." She tried to find a good thing to say, not being good with this sort of stuff. "Well, I should have known better! I'll... I'll make it up to you!"

She looked pleadingly at Catnip, then turned the same attention to Scientia.

"And... And Scientia, you can delete the film!"

She looked between them, her heart racing, feeling like many of the characters she knew in her bedroom. She felt alive.

"M-maybe it's not too dangerous to do this, but... I can imagine the experience, and I don't want to see her fall."

She managed to get them both into a hug, softly saying, "Can we kiss and make up? Please?"

They both burst out laughing at the line 'kiss and make up', breaking the hug. Scientia and Cantip oblige, kissing each other lightly on the lips. Scientia is the first one to talk. "Well, shall I delete the film?"

Catnip shakes her head. "Nah, I was just overreacting. I think this is one of those things we laugh about in a few years. Or, in this case, minutes."

Scientia looks at Tetsuo. "Maybe, that's your power. You bring people together."
