Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

Georgia wrinkled her nose a little, "You don't think I became the Possum without learning to take a fall, do you? And don't think I'm letting you get away with that one... tomorrow you won't be getting the head start!", she said with a grin, pushing up on her toes to kiss in Suzie's nose.

[Blaze]

Suzie smiles and nods before tucking Georgia's shirt back in for her.

"Can't be looking sloppy on your first day!"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia blushed, reflecting on the concern Suzie had shown. She wondered how the older teen must see her now, and squirmed as she felt her shirt being tucked back in, as if she couldn't do it herself, which just seemed to back up her fears. "Thanks... ", she murmured, looking embarrassed. "You're getting so much like your Mom, you know? You're a mini version of her... ".

[Blaze]

"Eh, you think so? I like to think that I'm way cooler than her!" Suzie says with a giggle.

"... but I know what you mean. Thanks."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia grinned, giving Suzie a hug when the older girl had finished tucking her shirt in. She glanced around the lobby, and then peered at the doors leading out to the street, and sucked in a deep breath, "Here goes, I guess... ".

[Blaze]

Suzie giggles and gives Georgia a gentle push out the door into the streets. The sun is starting to rise over the city, giving it a weak light.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia stumbled out onto the sidewalk, and felt a smile spread across her lips. "Lovely morning", she mumured. Usually she would have made her way to work on autopilot, not really taking in her surroundings. Reaching into the pink back pack, she retrieved her pink phone, and held it out toward Suzie as her brown eyes drifted up to the rooftops.

[Blaze]

Suzie smiles and takes the phone, starting to put in a few numbers as she walks, not even needing to look at the phone as she types!

[Harri-chan]

Turning back to Suzie, Georgia's mouth fell open at how easily the older girl could operate the phone without looking. She shook her head and grinned. As they walked by a coffee shop, she blushed, realising she still had no money of her own, and was still reliant on Amanda and Suzie for everything. "Wow, that place looks so much nicer than the places I used to live", she muttered as a smartly dressed blonde came out with a holder tray of coffee cups, walked right across their path and into a grey, sporty Mercedes. "Hmph..".

[Blaze]

"Hm? What's wrong?"

Suzie hands the phone back. Two names have been added to her contact list. 'Suzie' and 'Auntie Amanda.'

[Harri-chan]

"Nothing...", she muttered as she watched the car pull out and zoom off. Her smile returned as she took the phone and saw the contacts, "Thank you!", she squealed, holding it up and beaming at the names for a moment or two, before slipping it into her back pack as they continued on. "Do you think I'll need money for anything at school?".

[Blaze]

Suzie smiles and shakes her head.

"Nah, Mom usually packs a good lunch so no need for the cafeteria."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia nodded her head, but was unable to shake thoughts of loss of independence from her head. For most of the last two days, it had seemed like the Hellchemist's transformation had brought more positives than negatives, but she blushed at this reminder she was just a child now.

"We have to take breaks at the scheduled times, right? No going to the bathroom whener you want?".

[Blaze]

"Well, if you ask the teacher in class, they'll let you go then. You'll need a hall pass though." Suzie says with a giggle.

"Things haven't changed THAT much!"

[Harri-chan]

"I didn't say they had... but it's a looong time since I was at school", she mutters, looking embarrassed. "It's just going to be weird at first. I'm used to getting up and going to the bathroom, or going to grab a coffee, whenever I want. What time are all the breaks?", she asked.
