Alana shrugs and lays down on her bunk.

"Well I guess I will see you all in the morning."

Soon Alana fell into a peaceful sleep.

Ken parks his bike, gets off, and stretches. What else can happen? he wondered, looking around.

Before anyone else could notice anything, Gary went to the campfire and acted as if he were warming his hands by the fire. After looking around to make sure anyone else in the forest was looking for a clear shot (which he clearly presented at the moment) he stuck his hand into the charred wood barricade and lifted a lever hidden in the burned debris. The unlocking of a magnetically-sealed barrier was sounded from the fire and Gary lifted a manhole sized cover from what looked like an Alice in Wonderland-sized rabbit hole. "All right boys, come on down before it gets too busy up around here." he says quickly as he props himself on a fireman's pole that allows him to shimmy down the...oh...maybe 2 1/2 foot diameter hole (it'd be hard for anyone with claustrophobia).

As Alana fell asleep, she would find herself sitting in her dreamscape as Sariah stood in her white suit. "It's been a while..." she half-mentioned as she began pacing the floor in front of Alana. "This is quite the conundrum you've caught yourself to be in."

Dan shivers and shakes her head. "No. Not going down. They'll scream. You'll scream." She shuts her eyes. "Not going down."

"Yes it has been a while. I had to come after Rachel. She is my best friend after all. How did these girls in this bunker get Hybridized? Was some alternate form of FemmeX?"

Julian hides his bike as well as he can, then stands next to the hole, leading Dan. "Come on... you dont want to be out here alone do you?"

Dan pulls away from Julian. "Don't touch me! No one can touch me!" She hugs herself tightly. "I don't want you to scream." Dan's eyes are glazed over, staring as far into the dirt as she can.

After parking his bike and making sure the device was safe, Surge followed Gary down the secret passage.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

"Freak out later, girl... now you need to get in that hole before we betray the location of our friend here."

"We all have been through a lot... but you dont see us breaking down. So suck it up and act like a soldier, damnit!"

She snaps her head up and stares at Julian. "Don't call me that. My name is Dan. And don't come crying to me when you end up like the others." She stomps her way to the hole. "I'll only make it worse." Dan slides down the pole.

When Dan is out of sight. "Well... that got her to move."

He follows her down the hole.

The outer chamber of Gary's domain had only a door. As Gary pushed it open, the inner room was a far more awesome sight. You could live for days, weeks, maybe even months down here with the proper supplies. In one corner laid a mattress, around the edges were various notes and papers and files. On the other side was a computer, a complicated-looking radio, and various other recconaisance devices. There were more bits and pieces of notes, journals, and sticky notes all detailing different strategies and predictions. A map of the old U.S.A lay on one wall with several pins stuck in it with marker pen arrows crisscrossing this way and that. Off to the side was a doorway leading to another room with empty space filled with a few boxes. "Welcome to my home." Gary says nonchalantly as he walks to one side of the room and pressed a button. Instantly the floor started shaking. It wasn't clear whatever it was but it sounded like a pneumatic lift. Once the noise stopped, Gary opened another door leading to the now dropped level where all the bikes now rested. "Good nothing was damaged." he said as he continued to pace around. It seemed he was a little nervous about having company around, "Make yourself at home if you so desire. It'll be a bit cramped but we'll be safe down here."

***
Sariah sneered, "They are those who betrayed the girls by becoming as feral as the animals they embodied. Beware of their lies."

Julian nods. "Well thanks for taking us in... but I'm not really sure what we should do from here..."

"Probably find the next nearest base..."

Dan tucks herself into a corner, trying to make herself as small as she can. "Thanks..." she mutters.
