((Ah, which plushie? There are hundreds in the area, and two of them just spoke...))

(The tide of security plushies make their way to the power core, with most of the Black Mage plushie glaring enviously at the stormtrooper plushie squeezed against KFC's chest)

(Eventually they come to the room in question: a gigantic sphere-shaped hollow stretching further than the eye can see, carved out of the halls of metal and machinery. In the middle lay the power core; a tremenous series of glowing blue drums that slowly rotate and shift up and down as power surges constantly through massive transformers)
(All around the core lie layer upon layer of reinforced durasteel decks, spreading out far enough for the Mage Stars considerable compliment of security troops to stand in formation. As the area was to be the first and foremost region to be protected in case of a raid, it was built such that a great number of troops could be stationed there, as well as smaller war machines and armored emplacements)

Putting down the plushie she was holding and patting it on the head, Caprice addressed it.

Black Mage plushie #88 (holding up a comlink): Here, use this. Use the dial to select from the room frequency to the emergency frequency that'll broadcast throughout the entire Mage Star. Or, if you want to contact a certain room, dial the selector on the side, and then enter the extension... (he goes into great detail about the process, using far too many three-syllable words for KFC to possibly process if she tried)

"^_^"
Being well-versed in the art not trying to understand things, Caprice let the monologue flow over her serenely, waiting until the plushie ended the explanation.
"Soooo....If I talk into it I'll be all loud-like~?"

Black Mage plushie #88: Very loud-like. And if you find you're not loud-enough-like, you can twist that top dial up to be louder-like.
Black Mage plushie #40 (smacking him in the side): Dude, don't make fun of her like that! She's the commanding officer, you twit!

(The plushies reply back in a loud, rolling wave, with responses ranging from "Fine" to "I'm cold" and "Isn't there some sort of prison break going on right now?")

Ellf-chan is hiding and bemoaning the loss of her former shapeshifter powers. Luckily she managed to find a part of the Mage Star where there are no cameras nor have there been any patrols in this area for a while. She has given herself time to plan.

Kaze plushie (leading Rags and Katt further in): Well, since it now seems that BOTH of you have gone mute, I flipped a coin to decide upon our destination.
Kaze plushie: You'll note that behind the cowering and bemoaning redhead that we'll probably be subduing... AGAIN... is the waste furnace. This is the area of the Mage Star where the toxic byproducts of its many reactors, generators, synthesizers, and factories are vented into to be destroyed and discarded. Whatever cannot be effectively or safely destroyed is collected into cubes of slag, and then launched down onto certain unpopular areas of otherwise likeable planets. This latest block had been slated for Rowan's bakery before it was destroyed by a seemingly random dragon slave, and is even now giving out waves of nearly lethal radiation as it waits for disposal.
Kaze plushie: Besides the radiation, blistering heat, and total lack of Feng Shui in this area of the Mage Star, you may have also noticed a tangy scent in the air. That's bad, and you should probably stop breathing that stuff; the primary reason this area isn't monitored or even patrolled regularly is because this area is, at best, maddeningly uncomfortable to anybody who would dwell here for a short time, and, at worst, utterly lethal to anyone who remained here for more than twenty-four hours without the proper gear. Also, this area couldn't be used to escape from the Mage Star, further reducing the security risk... unless, of course, one were to escape hidden within a block of toxic slag, which I suppose would be slightly LESS suicidal than attempting to fight one's way out to the hangar.

Kaze plushie: Gamma, alpha, beta, omega, kaleidescopic, necromantic, neoplasmic, photonic, electromagnetic, and due to recent experimentation with Warpstone, probably Warp radiation as well. All in relatively small quantities, because the waste IS properly sealed in their containment units at the moment, but continued exposure is definitely NOT recommended.

I see. That would be rather unpleasant to soak up a lot of. I have to ask though, what is giving off kaleidescopic radiation?

Kaze plushie: Some moron was trying to see if he could create a prismatic spray FLASHLIGHT. The batteries were... contaminated. It wasn't pretty.
