The Skull Kid teleports away and begins to chase after the source of the tune.

He comes across a wooded area with dead leaves all over the ground that crunch loudly underfoot. There doesn't seem to be anyone there, but the song is louder than ever.

"Argh! I KNOW YOU'RE HERE SOMEWHERE!" The Skull Kid yells while stomping his feet in frustration. "Come out and face me, fairy boy! Are you afraid I'm going to curse you again or something!?"

The fact that the song was getting even louder further infuriates the Skull Kid. That jerk! Messing around with him like this... He'll pay!

Several quiet crunches sound behind the Skull Kid, and the song gets almost tauntingly louder.

The Skull Kid quickly charges up a few balls of dark energy and throws them behind him blindly. He'll show that fairy boy not to mess with him!

The stranger raises a shield to block the fireballs, then dashes toward the Skull Kid, kicking up leaves.

The Skull Kid quickly transforms into a Deku and jumps into a pile of leaves to duck under the attack, then launches himself into the air and fires a few spit bubbles at the mysterious attacker while hovering away.

"Ha! Am I kicking up some bad memories, fairy boy?"
