Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Blaze]

Dana smiles and leads Georgia through the halls, stopping outside the bathrooms.

"I won't be too long, just wait out here." she says slipping into the girl's bathroom.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia nodded, and leaned up against the wall, keeping an eye out to see if she could spot Suzie in the halls on the way to her next class. She thought to herself she'd have to try and learn Suzie's class schedule as well as her own.

[Blaze]

As she leans against the wall, a group of three older girls surround Georgia! The leader, a girl with dirty blond hair smirks down at Georgia.

"Hey, you new? That's our wall you're leaning on."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia frowned, and at first her mind just saw three teenagers.

"Your wall? That's kind of childish, isn't it? Do you try and claim your own table in the lunch hall too?", she asked, before wondering if that was the right tone to take as she looked up and saw they were actually older than her.

[Blaze]

"Yeah, we do. So what?" the girl on Georgia's left says, her hair heavily gelled and dyed green. "Don't wanna have to sit wit dorks like you."

"Buuut... since you're new, we can let you off without a beating. Just hand over five bucks and we can forgive your blatant disrespect." the redhead on Georgia's right says, holding out her hand.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's brown eyes shifted to the green-haired girl, and then to the red-haired one that demanded money from her. She chewed her bottom lip, gazing up at the three. It was rather intimidating... but a week ago she was fighting armed criminals, there was no way she was going to let some teenage girls frighten her.

"I'm not giving you anything! In fact, I think the principal might be interested in hearing about this!".

[Blaze]

All the girls snigger and roll their eyes.

"Please~ Our parents are some of the school's biggest contributors. That old fart isn't gonna risk losing their yearly donations."

The redhead and green-haired girl move to Georgia's sides, placing firm hands on her shoulders.

"You need to learn some respect..." the blonde says, cracking her knuckles.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia had come across several cases of corruption within Anthem City's police and government over the years, but she wasn't expecting one of it's most prestigious schools to have the same problem. As she felt the older girls close in around her, she tried to push passed them, but her heart started to race when they grabbed her by the shoulders.

In the back of her mind, a voice was telling her to stay calm, that they were just kids, but it was too late, and she was already in a panic.

"Let go!", she groaned, trying to twist away from their hands, her short skirt swishing about as she tried to duck right under their arms and push the blonde backwards by pressing both hands on her shoulders and shoving with all her strength!

[Blaze]

THe girls are caught by surprise and the girl is shoved back, slamming into the lockers across from the bathrooms!

A deathly quiet fills the hall as everyone stares at Georgia.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia felt a familiar sensation overcome her, and she took up a fighting stance, but even as she did so, she knew it was dangerous. Things were too different. She wasn't yet familiar with her body, and fighting would be a mistake, yet how could she ever hope to get back to fighting crime if she let a group of teenage girls scare her off? Her knees felt weak as as the quiet settled over the hall and all those eyes turned to look at her. Smoothing down the sleeves of her red jacket, she backed away from the trio slightly, her body reverting to the stance of an awkward teenager rather than a crime fighter, and she felt her cheeks go red.

[Blaze]

"Oh, you're dead now you little brat..." the blond snarls as she gets up, the other two starting towards Georgia...

When Dana emerges from the bathroom. "... what's going on?"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia backed up alongside Dana, never taking her eyes off the older girls. "Um... they wouldn't attack me right here where everyone could see, would they?", she asked, her voice trembling slightly. "I think I pissed them off... ".

[Blaze]

Dana smiles and shakes her head, pointing up at the security camera on the wall.

"Certainly not with video evidence. Especially when it's surveillance run by one of the companies my father owns." she says, saying the last part loud enough for the bullies to hear.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia glanced up at the cameras, and then back to Dana. "We should probably get to class", she muttered, shooting another nervous glance back at the three older girls as she grasped her new friend's hand, feeling rather embarrassed.

[Blaze]

"When school's out, you're dead bitch." the blond hisses as Dana pulls Georgia along, heading to class.
