Grunwalde backs away from the cracks and the eye. "Should I run, do you think...?"

*And she punches it, as hard as she can. Against a human, this would probably be pretty painful. It's presumably markedly less effective against eldritch abominations though. Despite this, the ex-overlord continues pounding. She seems to find it quite cathartic.*

She shrugs... taking her machete and unsheathing it. She hacks a few tentacles... feeling rather bad for doing so.

The knight deftly catches the vial, surprisingly keeping it from breaking against his gauntlet. He motions to the maid. "Here, keep this safe." He tosses it to her, then slips on his helmet once more to hack ferociously at the waving tentacles with his two huge energy swords.

Grunwalde may feel a little bad about hacking the tentacles, but there's something off about their life energy, something evil. It's not quite so bad hacking something... that's so bad. Her adrenaline levels go up, and she feels so full of life and vigor, she can't help but try to ease the tension of the situation for the others.

The priestess hears the voice in her head sigh. "Always an obstacle for true love, isn't there? Well, at least we've got some... entertainment..." The voice gets all throaty as it tells the priestess just what she could do with all those tentacles flying around. Oddly, it seems to have the same effect on the priestess as it does her goddess. The heat in her body fills her with power, power she can use and share to strike down her foes and give power to her friends.

"Yes my Mistress's lover," said the maid as she was trying to catch the vial and it fumble in her hands for a while. She then took it and place it in her cleavage which she guess was the safest place due to the fact that currently she had no pockets of the sort.

The Maid then ran to stand beside her mistress. She wanted to help in the fight but she was reminded of her strength due to earlier when she had tried to pick up the sword. She frowned a little remembering the memory.

Grunwalde hovers, her blood in a frenzy as her body urges her to hack and slash! But she pauses at the clearly intelligent speech.

"Um... I dont suppose your looking for a minion, are you? I'm currently between jobs, and wouldnt mind being employed by an extradimensional horror being from the void if it meant not being eradicated from existence."

At heart she was still an assassin... that is to say she looked out for her own interests first.

The priestess pauses a bit, listening to her goddess' words and images. "Oh. Ooooh! Oh my, that is...!" She giggles gleefully as the heat and power fill her up. "Let's see what we can do here," she murmurs, her voice husky now. She waves one hand in a circle, and all the humans present feel a warm affection slip into them, bolstering their courage in the face of the creature and protecting them from magical fear attacks. Then she gestures with her staff toward Tim, stoking her desire and passion for the knight into a literal inferno that wreathes the queen's hands in magical, holy flame. She then points to the knight with it, channeling his own affection for Tim into his physical form, enhancing his speed and strength.

She's at something of a loss as what to do with the maid or Grunwalde, beyond the already bestowed fear resistance. Goddess? She prays. I need guidance now, I don't really know what I can do for the maid or the alchemist, or really what my powers can do. My focus just used to be so... destructive.

The knight shifts about in his armor for a bit, and he glances over at Tim. While hacking at the tentacles he gives her a nod. "You're cute when you're pummeling abominations." He looses both swords at what looks like the thing's main eyeball.

The maid may not be able to help with the fight but... there is still her mistress' armor! That would protect her mistress! And there's her warhammer as well! Perhaps she may be of use after all!

Well, Grunwalde has her interests, but she does feel quite satisfied to see others happy as well. All for a balanced and healthy life and all...

"Don't worry, daughter. You are doing so well." The voice of the goddess is full of pride... and the huskiness from the aforementioned tentacles. "The maid loves her mistress. Give her the strength to serve as she wishes. The alchemist is in mental turmoil, though she doesn't see it. Give her... I dunno, a backrub?" She can feel the goddess shrug in her mind. "She just needs a friend while she adjusts. And she is pretty cute..."

The priestess blushes a bit more at the compliment. Thank you, goddess! I'll do my best! And yes, she is cute... She gestures at the maid, who feels a warmth spread trough her. Out of the maid's devotion to her mistress pours a surge of strength, speed and grace! She'd be able to handle a sword now, no problem! In fact, should could probably heft several weapons, a suit of armor or two, and still run, given how she's feeling right now.

Turning toward Grunwalde, the priestess is just in time to see the tentacle start infecting her. "Get away from her!" she shouts, and rushes the alchemist. With a swing of her staff holy, the tentacle is effortlessly severed. "You can't let that thing get into you, Grunwalde! It's a being of hate and pain, and will cause nothing but suffering to you and those around you!" She touches Grunwalde's infected arm with her staff and channels energy into it, relaxing the arm and the grip of the tentacle still on it, halting the spread of the infection. "I'm here to help you, Grunwalde, I won't let that thing take you away!" She grabs the alchemist in a tight hug, squeezing the woman into her ample chest. A sense of love and peace pours into Grunwalde, begining to reverse the changes on her arm.

"Oh dear," said the maid as she felt a bit worried. She looked around and notice the armor that belonged to her mistress and the warhammer from before. She soon began to feel warmth within her body as the devotion and love for her mistress was giving her strength. She soon rushes to grab the warhammer but was a bit worried that she wouldn't be able to lift it. Once she tries to pick it up she finds that it was quiet easy. She then spots the sword and lifts it easy. Holding both weapons were hard but it wasn't as difficult then before. The maid even tries to picks up the suit of armor as she was hoping to help her mistress.

"I am here to assist you my mistress. Give me the order and I will serve you," said the maid as she runs over. Her hips sway with each step as she rushes over and tires to hand Tim her warhammer. "Please take your weapon as I fix you with your armor."

The maid was already rushing to put on the armor on Tim. She was moving quickly and gracefully.

Grunwalde flinches as the tentacle wraps around her arm... but dosent pull away as it begins changing her. Of course that ends as the priestess intervenes!

"W-what are you doing? I didnt ask for your help!" She blushes as the priestess hugs her... feeling alien feelings of love and peace enter her mind.

"You didn't need to, I could see you were in trouble. I can't let that horrible thing steal away a cute girl!" She hugs tighter, as love and serenity flow though Grunwalde, weakening the infection further. Asked for or not, the embrace is pleasant and soothing. The priestess is a very good hugger.
