[Xiao]

After several minutes of lying in his bed, reviewing magical motions in his head, Daniel finally over came the caffeine's wake inducing effects and fell asleep.

[Teddy]

Genno slept well, not dreaming of blood and demons like one would think, but of Elise and things to come. The future didn't really matter, as long as he had his beautiful midget, he'd be allright.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise eventually drifted off as well, cheek resting against Genno's hair. Surprising, maybe, given her location, but she was so tired, and it felt so good to be here.... Her dreams, too, were more peaceful than one would expect, given the events of the day. No nightmares of being shot or stabbed or lost. Instead, it was just light and joy and a life intertwined with this boy she had so unexpectedly fallen for so quickly but wonderfully.

OOC: Hm, I think Elise might take some umbrage at being referred to as a "midget," even with the word beautiful attached. She's not THAT short! A height difference of nine inches isn't THAT bad. Guess she'll just have to wear her heeled platform boots more.

[Teddy]

Genno finally woke up, after no telling how long. He looked down at Elise and gently kissed her cheek. "Hey.. I think it's time to get up."

(Sorry.. Since Genno is somewhat based off me, he has my bad habit of calling people more than 4 inches shorter than him a midget. : P)

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise's eyes fluttered. "Uh- wha?..." She blinked, slowly coming awake. And realized where she was. Still in Genno's lap, but all slumped down, so that her head rested on his shoulder now- and given the slide that had been involved in that rearrangement, her skirt was now bunched up, showing most of her legs. Her cheeks pinkened a bit. "Uh... did we... spend the whole night here?..." She yawned a little. "I... think I'm going to have quite the crick in my neck...."

OOC: Don't worry about it; I think it's kind of funny, actually. But once he calls her that to her face, he'll get at least a raised eyebrow sort of response.

[Xiao]

Daniel rolled awake, more literally than he would have liked. Normally he was a very heavy sleeper, and the mental exhaustion from the night before wouldn't have made it any better. However, he also rolled quite a bit in his sleep, though he had never rolled completely off of a bad before. There's a first time for everything I suppose.

"Ah...accursed gravity..." he mumbled after waking, "Good of a time as ever to get up though..." After grabbing his glasses and brushing himself off, Daniel made his way to the kitchen and began to gather things needed to fry eggs.

[Teddy]

He laughs at her, then fixes her skirt, grinning a bit. "I.. I really think we did. I don't really mind it though." He stands up, then sets Elise down on her feet. "So.. Didja get any ideas on how to make a living?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise rolled her neck a bit, wincing at the slight crackle as it worked out some of the stiffness. "No, not yet, sadly," she said. "We were... well... quite busy yesterday, and I was so worn out afterwards I slept like a stone. And I didn't get any dream-inspirations, I'm sorry to say. You?" She fidgeted with her skirt a bit, even though it was positioned fine now. Despite the fact that she loved him, there were still some things that made her feel nervous. And showing a lot of leg was one of them. "But... for now, I just want to take a shower and put on some clean clothes.... Then we can work on a plan of action."

[Teddy]

Genno nods, rubbing his chin. "Sounds like a good idea to me.. And no dream inspirations from me either... Do we have any food?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

She shook her head, hair flying a bit. "I'm afraid not. We didn't have time to do any shopping yesterday.... I think that at the time the subject came up, Neko came flying through the window and chaos ensued. Sad, though, because well, I'm quite hungry...." She looked sort of sheepish as her stomach gave a loud rumble.

[Teddy]

Genno grins a bit. "We'll shower, then we can grab ourselves some food.. No sense in going out covered in blood and smelling like death, right?" His own stomach rumbles a bit and he looks at it with slight irritation. "We'll eat soon, right Elise? Anyway, go ahead and shower. I promise not too peek, unless ya want me too." His grin got a bit broader, his eyes giving off that mischevious twinkle.

(Two important things of note, Gwen. 1. Genno is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters. Don't beat him up too bad. 2. I'm going to the beach (or hell) tomorrow, and will not be around for 6-7 days. Sorry about this... but I should be on the rest of the summer. Thank you for bearing with me and... *insert gratuitous shower scene here*)

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise flushed brilliant crimson. "Th-the only reason I'm not slapping you right now is because you've been beaten up enough in the pasty twenty-four hours," she said. Her chin rose a notch, and she headed for her room in what would have been a stalk if not for the fact that she was still favoring her injured leg. Over her shoulder, she added, "Yes, we'll eat as soon as possible.... And I'm locking the door, so don't even think about peeking."

OOC: As you can see, he didn't get beaten up at all. I have to say I've really enjoyed playing this particular pairing.... And hey, I disappeared on you for five days, right? Fair is fair! Sorry to hear it won't apparently be a fun trip for you. Also sorry I wasn't on here to play more. I went out to see a friend for her birthday. Ironic. But I'll see you when you return, I guess.

Daniel opened the fridge to find that it had a decent stock of food already inside, including eggs. On the inside of the refrigerator door a was note...

This should help you get by until you can earn yourself some money, or at least some generous friends. This is a one time thing though so don't count on this again.

Daniel smiled as he removed the note from the door as he pulled out a half-dozen carton of eggs. After laying the pan on the now warming burner, he released the contents of one of the eggs onto the surface of the pan and began to watch it, spatula in hand.

[Teddy]

Genno continued grinning at her. "Allright.. Allright.. I'll let ya have it your way, Elise." He relaxed a bit on the couch, the grin and the twinkle never leaving.

She's just as hot-headed and spirited as I am.. Hah. Dad said I'd never make it in a city.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Have my way? Oh, so you're saying that if I didn't lock the door you'd-" She turned even redder, if that were possible. "Oh- oh, never mind!" With that she hurried to her room, or at least as fast as she could given the fact that she still limped, to hastily gather together a change of clothes and her toiletries before hustling into the bathroom. It wasn't until she was actually in the shower that she realized she'd forgotten to lock the door in her haste. Don't worry about it. He knows I'll let him have it if he peeks.... The thought of which made her flush all over, yet again.
