Georgia takes a small step back, and one hand lightly holds onto the back of Dana's red jacket as she watched the other girl lighting the matching and then the burner. Science had never been a strong point of her's, but the Hellchemist had made the entire subject even more frightening. She pressed herself to Dana's back, watching over her shoulder, and surely the other teen would feel her heart racing!

"What's it gonna do?".

"Just watch~" Dana says excitedly.

For a moment, nothing happens. Then the magnesium begins to shine a bright white light before crumbling away!

Georgia held her breath as the metal started to burn brightly, only letting it out, as a relieved sigh, when it was over and the metal crumbled away to the desk. She glanced over, seeing how excited Dana was, and chewed her bottom lip.

"You really like this kind of stuff, huh? You know much about that... Hellchemist woman that's been on the news recently?".

Dana gives a small giggle and shakes her head.

"Not really. The practicals are always kinda fun though. And wasn't that the lady who robbed the bank?"

Georgia nodded her head, a little redness rising to her cheeks.

"That's her", she sighed, sitting back down on a stool alongside the workbench.

"She's someone that understands all this science stuff. I'm sure the cops could figure out her identity with a bit of work, but they just let heroes like the Possum face the danger instead".

"But didn't the Hellchemist beat the Possum?" Dana asks with a tilt of her head.

"I mean, the Hellchemist is literally a wizard or something, and the Possum is just a normal lady right? She wouldn't stand a chance."

"She's not just a normal lady... she's incredibly brave", said Georgia, sounding a little more whiny than she had intended. Blushing, she folded her arms across her chest. "The Hellchemist doesn't have any magic either... the stuff she does comes from potions. She likely started out in a science classroom just like this".

Dana gives a small giggle and pats Georgia on the shoulder.

"Sorry sorry, didn't realize she was your favorite." she says, looking genuinely apologetic.

Georgia continued to pout for a moment or two longer, but she just couldn't feel down when around her new friend, and soon she found herself giggling as she leaned over and kissed the other teenager on the cheek and gave her a firm hug.

"It's okay. You were nicer about her than most people in this city are", she shrugged.

Dana smiles and hugs Georgia back, chest to chest. Georgia may note, to her chagrin, that this highschooler has a larger bust than her now!

"All right, now we gotta write about what happened in the experiment." Dana says, releasing Georgia and taking her glasses off.

It was an odd sensation for Georgia, who had never felt jealous of any woman's body before, to now not only be jealous of her best friend and her best friend's fifteen year old daughter, but also a thirteen year old. She cringed a little as she settled down and removed her glasses, pulling her notepad and pen in front of her.

"Okay... so... um... what DID happen? I mean... it glowed brightly and then all crumbled apart. I doubt we're gonna get a high grade for one sentence".

Dana giggles.

"This is just a basic chemistry class~ That works just fine."

"Oh yeah... ", she murmured, and wrote down just that on her notepad. She chewed nervously on the end of her pen, looking over her sentence before glancing back to Dana.

"Is class nearly finished?".

"Mm? Nah, usually the teacher talks about something related to the experiment after the practical." Dana says

Soon, the teacher stands up and begins talking about the basics of energy transfer, how most things go from high to low.

Georgia turned her attention to the front of the class, to listen to the teacher, but she could feel her eyelids growing heavy and drooping down slightly, and then, before she could stop it, her mouth opened wide with a yawn, and she blushed brightly, glancing around to see if anyone had seen.
