Guy steps up to Nathanial and playfully slaps him on the back, all smiles and glazed eyes. "Dude, c'mon, guy. Yer not scared of ghosts, are ya? They don't exist, dude. Stuff that don't exist can't hurt'cha, right, guy?"

Hey readjusts the hat and follows the group, lazily scuffing the floor with his heels, his hands behind his head in a relaxed position. "What's the worst that could happen?"

"Other options?" David restated the question as he glanced around. He didn't really feel like exploring either. "Well, I guess we could do as Nathaniel suggested and try to break down the door..."

Devin knocked on the door. "Unlikely. This thing is made of a high grade wood, and the lock seems to be pretty sturdy as well. We really can only push forward at this point.

"Yahoo! Exploration team, forward!" Allison exclaimed as she pointed down the hall. Was she even paying attention to the situation?

"You shouldn't lose your cool just because you can hear my voice. It's your fault for touching my mirror after all..." The voice spoke to Nathaniel. "Hey, since you're the first person to talk to me, do you want to be my friend?" The question was smothered in eerieness.

((Sorry, but I won't be able to post again for 8 hours or so. I have work to attend to.))

"Your... Friend?" The question wasn't spoken out loud, but rather in his mind. "If you promise not to eat me or something of that sort, then I don't see why it would be a problem..." Even in his panicked state, the comedic, somewhat-sarcastic touch was still there. "It's no fun, being lonely - as long as I don't get horribly mauled by zombies - not that I'm saying you're a zombie, because of course, they don't exist - or trapped in a room filled with poison gas or something, I'm sure we can work this out..." As worried as he was, Nathaniel could sympathize with the supposedly-lonesome apparition-girl. He spoke the truth - it was no fun being lonely, as he knew all-too-well.

(( Looking forward to continuing, then! ^_^ Coincidentally, I'll be returning in about eight hours as well. ))

"Aye, capt'n," Jace joked as he saluted Allison's back. "Lead the way, brave leader!"

Rojelio usually liked hanging around with Allison and her gang but in this dark house surrounded by dead trees, he would have prefered the company of someone more cautious and less easy-going. The David-dude Allison had brought with her seemed to be spooked. For Rojelio, this prooved the guy had some intelligence. Spontaneous combustion was not something common and fear appeared to Rojelio as a sane reaction. He shared David's feelings but didn't want his to show.

" I agree with Devin, let's stick together, find a phone and be done with it."

With steps he hoped were resolute, he started walking down the hall first. Still being extra cautious, looking down at his feet, in case the assaults of time would have formed some hole in the ground.

((Curse my lateness >_< ))

Rick was a bit consered about being traped in a mansion, but more so that they couldn't reach their intended destination in the first place. The dayjust couldn;t get any better...Rick followed the group will dragging his hands. "This is no fun! We could've been doing a gallion things more fun than looking around a mansion... All we need now is that this is actually a reality TV show or something..." he says as he knocks on the walls to check if there hollow or solid.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

((Don't worry, I'll get anyone who gets left behind caught up. Plus, I'm not in a rush. I need to figure out TFs for everyone, and it's hard to keep things fresh. That's why if anyone has any good ideas, I'd like you to PM me. And go ahead and post, Lana.))

"Oh, yay!" So you'll be my first friend!?" The voice seemed more than overjoyed. "Do you think the others would as well? Maybe I'll come meet you soon!"

"Nathaniel, just who are you talking to...?" David inquired as he followed after Allison, a little concerned for the individual's sanity. "And guys, I doubt this is a reality TV show. I don't think most would have the budget to create a machine capable of stalling two vehicles in such a perfect place." The thought provoking conversation at least kept David from getting too nervous as they continued down the hall, their footsteps echoing menacingly as the silhouettes caused by the candles stirred malificently. The eventually rounded a corner, and found themselves faced with a ridiculously large room, almost like a small ballroom. Chandeliers were lit with candles, and the windows had black curtains over them, although you could still hear the pitter patter of rain and the flashes of lightning. There were stairs at the other end of the room that seemed to go up to two large doors, which assumingly led farther in. The black and white tiled floor in this room was covered in dust as well, along with the dining tables. "Just what kind of place was this?"

Rick looked around the room, which made him nervious. His imagination started to work. "Now Zombies come crashing through the walls and eat our brains..." says Rick telling an unwanted joke as he crossed his arms and kept close to everybody.

"I suppose I will be your first frie-huh?" Broken of his reverie, the apprentice businessman's eyes darted to David. "I didn't say anything..." He shrugged the inquisition off as he gazed at the room ahead of him. "And in response to your other question... It's an old kind of place. Look at it... It's filthy. The person who lived here probably didn't have many friends..."

"Bnd I'm sure they will be your friends, too," he added under his breath to the voice. He saw a potential way out of this situation, and if it meant being friends with whatever it was that had trapped them here, then so be it.

"Wow." He looks around the room. "I wonder who used to live here. They must have been ridicously rich, morbid or both." He says, saying anything that comes to his mind so he doesn't think how scarry the mansion is.
