Kaitlyn pockets the phone, relieved that emergency services are on the scene. She remains somber for a moment, still thinking about that arm... *shudder*
"Hey Jessica?" Kaitlyn says, finally breaking the somber silence of the car. "Be careful driving okay?"
Jessica nods once to show she heard, but says nothing else.
The group arrives at their place of work, a large office building, with nothing else happening. Jessica parks the car and get's out, same with Ben.
"... feel like calling in sick..." Ben mutters.

"Right... I guess I could head in today. I'll need directions to the place. Also any particular dresscode?"
The passing thought enters his head that this might be a prank pulled by his friends... but... whatever.
"Whatever you like. I doubt you have anything formal anyway..." the voice on the other end says with a cruel laugh.
She then rattles off a list of directions from Dan's apartment building to the bar.

He walks over toward the museum and approaches the back of the line, wondering what could have caused so many people to come to it on this particular day.
He steps up behind whoever is at the end of the line and clears his throat. "Hey, what's with this line?" he asks.
The woman in front of him, a young punk with piercings all over her face just scowls at Paul.
"It's the line into the art museum obviously."
She turns around and mutters, "Dumbass..."

...then he hears that same song as the last store... he looks over to the building and murmurs "...that is so unsettling." He checks to see what that store is. Then keeps going on his, at this point not so merry, way.
"Mmmm... nah, just woke up. Eight sounds great..."
The store is a clothing store! The staff seem a bit confused and nervous about the song as well.
As Matthew passes the next store, he hears the next part!

If the school's too damaged he might have to miss a lot, or go somewhere else. That'll throw off the whole year, and with college admissions coming up... Elton sighs and keeps walking in line. Best to just go with the flow and do whatever happens.
Soon, Elton emerges from the building into the dreary sunlight. THe students around him are babbling loudly, some are sobbing quietly as another explosion, this one larger then the last, rattles the building and causing several to scream loudly.
Once out on the field, the teachers take a roll call to make sure no one was left behind.
