(yar... kind of confused... how did you jump to get behind her and disappear at the same time. you go for the above route i'm assuming though you choose to hide instead, meaning that he kawarii'd out of the field, after dogding above the fireball, and then did the fog jutsu?.

and fog of clouds... uh... dense fog would have made more sense... since fog is essentially a low laying cloud, and you should add in the jutsu's name since i'm assuming your using one.

side note - with fireball and other elemental attacks, unless you want to add that her main element is fire or such, and it was part of her training... ninja's skill wise normally can't use more then one element unless there pretty high up or taught too, even then if then if they naturally have no affinity for the element it would be hard/impossible)

(Over the fireball, so to the left, although he landed behind her. And he jumped behind her, landed, and then did the jutsu behind one of the trees. And... Jutsu name added!

At least I can be vague here and learn from it.)

(Okay, I was pondering having her just know the lowest level jutsu of all the basic elements, under the 'basic jutsu' thing. If that's unreasonable, I can just make her very good at throwing many, many kunai. I won't edit it right now, wiating for the official veto.)

As he jumps she smiles. "Just as planned..." She's already moving in the same direction he is. She traces the jump with her eyes, and sees him land behind the tree. By the time he casts the jutsu, she's rushing towards him. Her whip is in her belt, and her hands are glowing. She's in the middle of the fog, rushing towards the tree.

Tamashii hears Goushin speak and sighs. "So much for my plan.." He then appears from behind the tree and dashes at her, holding the blade in his right hand, ready to attack.

Goushin's still rushing towards him, and her hands stop glowing. She makes a few signs with her hands, then drops one hand to her belt, adjusting her whip, while the other hand grabs a Kunai and readies it, preparing for sword to knife battle.

Tamashii grins as he jumps and tries to get a clean cut from an angle.

(In other words, he jumps and tries to attack you with his sword. He's at about a 25-30 degree angle to Goushin)

She sees the angle, and does a quick calculation. As she takes a single step, she kicks off with the back of her heel, reversing her momentum. She takes a quick step back or two, and Tamashii's jump will now take him in front of Goushin, and her steps keep her out of sword-range. Whip Range, on the other hand...

And her whip is already twirling on the ground, as she pushes it out of her belt from the bottom. She's ready to snap it, just as soon as Tamashii lands.

The whip snaps and wraps around Tamashii. Technically, the movement starts before his feet even touch the ground, leaving there no delay whatsoever.

As he tries to cut the whip, he realizes something important. It presses the sword against his flesh as well. So, it's a matter of what gives first. Him, or the whip.

As he does this, Goushin readies a kunai, and wraps the whip around her arm. She changes her position for a sec, allowing her to reach into her pack, and grab a thin strip of sealed paper. She opens the paper, and attaches it to the point of the kunai. Then she throws the kunai at Tamashii.

(GM approval on if the kunai reaches before or afte Tamashii can free himself, or if Tamshii CAN get free without hurting himself.)

(hmm....

the sword manages to cut through the rope however, the motion was enough to draw a slight amount of blood, he however is free with plenty of time as the kunai is still in mid flight.
