[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo shifted around in his chair to look behind him, but, just as he saw the stuffed Prinny, he returned his attention to Catnip when she had asked him questions. Usually, he wouldn't be interested in meeting people, and all that he would have considered were the games. A game room? Must be full of games! However, while he wouldn't mind having a look around the place, meeting more like Catnip (he assumed) didn't sound like a bad idea. Besides, he could always play some games later. Well, that's what he supposed, anyway.

"Uh, I... I guess I wouldn't mind the tour..." He replied, his voice cracking a bit, causing him to clear his throat.

Catnip leads Tetsuo outside, into the corridors of the ship. It's a rather large hallway, almost like a hotel. There are dozens of roms, maybe more. "This is the main guest area. This is where everybody sleeps, except for the boss. She sleeps in the Captain's Quarters, which is so cool it has to be capitalized. We had to make it big, so people would have a private space for changing, and all that kind of stuff. We don't get many guests though. Well, not now anyway."

She leads him through a bit of a maze of corridors and ladders. They're mostly similar looking, with a few scatterd signs, including Maintenence tunnels. She passes by the kitchen, and eventually gets to the living room. Inside, is a girl in a standard cowgirl outfit. Complete with hat, jacket, boots, spurs, and nice pants too. She's also got a simple shirt, and appears to be chewing something. Her boots are stuck up on the table, and her long blond hair pools around the sofa. She flips channels on the TV, and raises a hand in greeting to Catnip.

"Wassup, Sheriff Bart? Ya got the newb' witcha?" She spits out a piece of gum into a spitton, and grabs another piece. There's a picture of a Zebra on the front, but Tetsuo can't tell more.

Tetsuo wondered how he could have forgotten his attire, and moved to put Catnip between himself and the other catgirl, too embarrassed to be seen wearing what he had on. He knew that he'd feel better in the privacy of the room that he had found himself in, but he wasn't sure if he could find his way back. He did catch the "newb'" comment, but he had no idea what that could mean. Well, he just didn't really think about it, actually. He was more concerned about his dignity in relation to being around near-perfect-strangers. But, despite that, he still thought that he could bear with it, which was rather unlike him. There was just a certain something about being around these catgirls, besides his obvious fandom for them.

Catnip sticks her tongue out at Rose. "Stop calling me that. I'm not a sheriff, and my name's not BART!"

Rose smiles. "But it was a dahn good movie? Dontcha think?"

Catnip 's ears twitch. "That doesn't mean I want a STUPID NICKNAME BASED ON IT!"

Rose laughs, and walks over to Tetsuo. "Ya Okay? Cat gotcha tongue, or ya just too shocked at the situation to speak." She ruffles Tetsuo's hair, like a he's a younger sibling.

Tetsuo flinched when his hair had been ruffled.

"Um... Uh..." He stammered, not sure what to say.

He fidgeted for a second, eyes downcast, before he raised his eyes to meet Rose's. It was a gesture that proved to look cute, something he probably wouldn't have managed yesterday.

"I'm okay... I guess..." He finally responded, then ventured further, saying, "It's, um... Nice to meet you..."

Rose gives Tetsuo a big hug. "Aw, you're such a cute little newb. Ya need to meet people's eyes more. Ah like the cast of your face, it's the sorta thing I look fer. Yah watch much TV?"

Tetsuo blushed while feeling too awkward to reciprocate the hug. He was also distracted by a soreness in his chest, when it was pressed up against Rose. Otherwise, being hugged didn't seem so bad. Usually, he didn't like being touched by people, but, other than being catgirls, something was, well... Just different about, and made it more acceptable.

In response to Rose's question, she quietly said, "Do anime and video games count...?"

She lets go, and nods. "Yeah, ah guess they do. Ah myself am mainly a fan of wrestlin', like that Rumble Roses tournament."

Catnip pipes in. "Ah, the only thing sexier than big sweaty men beating the crap out of each other, is small sweaty women beating the crap out of each other..."

Rose yells at her. "That's not why ah watch it! Ah watch it to see if Reiko can avenge her mother, and if mah idahl, Dixie Clemnt, is gonna win da thang! I wanna see Anastasia get her comeuppence!"

Catnip laughs. "Yes, her uppence will come. Via 'embarassment' fatality!"

Rose blushes. "Yeah..."

While Rose and Catnip had their exchange, Tetsuo's attention diverted itself elsewhere. He looked around the living room, taking things in, not interested in what they were talking about. Idly, he wondered if Neko was around, seeing as he seemed to be in a place for catgirls or something. Well, he assumed so, having not seen anything else around. Of course, with as little social tact as he had, whatever he did was usually easy to read and, right now, it seemed like he was looking for someone. In fact, he was considering whether or not to ask about Neko.

After the "Yeah", Catnip and Rose sorta both stop talking. It's as if they've run out of things to say, or at least can't think of any. That, or they are letting Tetsuo have a chance to speak. Either way, the silence is enough that you can hear a pin drop.

In fact, someone dropped something a few doors away, in a direction Tetsuo did not go. Something metal, but that's all that anyone could tell.

Then the silence returns.

Tetsuo turned his attention to a hallway that he hadn't been down yet, and he swore that his ears twitched when he went to focus on the sound that came from that direction. Being that he was a loner, his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to walk away from the two catgirls without any consideration for them. He was soon looking down the unexplored hallway to see if the sound had come from there, and he shifted his stance a bit when his hips began to feel sore.

At the end of the hallway, outside of a few junctions, is a door marked 'La-BORE-A-Tor-ee" in a childish scrawl. Under it, in a more even hand, is written, "Not funny Catnip."

As Tetsuo approaches the room, there's a 'pop'. After a bit of anticipation, the door quietly opens, and a catgirl in a lab suit walks out. She seems somewhat disappointed, and runs her well-manicured claws through her spiky red hair. "Stupid chemicals. They reacted perfectly, and form an inert compound."

She looks at Tetsuo. "Is a mad scientist supposed to make an inert compound! I think not! The day is not done without an earth shattering KABOOM! And just because we're in a BLIMP does not excuse this."

Tetsuo was just confused, and didn't know what to think. His face scrunched up in thought, he decided to head back to the living room. When he approached Catnip, he looked up at her and asked: "Is Neko here...?"

He cleared his throat, because it sounded like his voice had come out higher than it should have.

The scientist follows him, muttering something about responding when you're talking to, being nice to your elders, etc. When Tetsuo asks Catnip the question, the scientist promptly backs away. Rose also looks strangely at Tetsuo.

Catnip gulps. "Neko's not exactly our friend right now. If everything goes right, you SHOULD be able to see her soon, though."

"Okay..." Tetsuo responded, accepting the answer while he wondering about his voice. He knew that he was talking as he normally did, but, for some reason, it just didn't come out right. Even as he cleared his throat, he could also feel his pelvis ache, as well as his tailbone.

"Say..." He directed at Catnip, since he was more comfortable with her, being more familiar to him and all. "I'm not feeling right... My arms feel fine, even though I remember them being broken, but..." His face scrunched up while he concentrated on his ailments. "I dunno... Maybe I broke something down here."

While he finished, he placed his hands on his hips to indicate where he thought a break might be, pulling in his voluminous robe-thing in the process.
