I didn't even want to look at the guy. He was like some evil spirit or something. If it was Halloween, he would be great. When he said that he did not know who he is, I thought he must be one of those deep thinkers who wonder the mysteries of life.

Lyra could see Jarred was getting somewhat antsy around this strange newcomer. And strange he was, indeed, though her brother seemed more disturbed than she was. She gave him a reassuring smile. What she really wanted to do was to give his hand a supportive squeeze, but well, he was at an age where that really wouldn't be welcomed so much anymore, at least not from a sister. Or at least not in public, anyway.

OOC: Yay, I like Ebony's design! Very striking. Didn't know she had a tail.

((OOC: Ebony is actually a familiar, not a human. You'll find out a bit more about it in this rp in a moment. Most of my cast is the same regardless of the rps, but some of their background may vary at times.))

Why won't Lyra reach for my hand. Is it because she does not want to? Or was it for my sake. I know I should not want it, but she is all the family I got. I would take it if only she offered. But I guess she does not want me to look like a baby in front of Ebony, the anime super nerd new guy, and Mr. Creepy here.

I wonder how that mission Ebony was talking about was coming.

We're currently in the sewers in the old part of town, and are preparing to chase after the stolen equipment."

Lyra glanced at Jarred again. He was still looking nervous, now directly at her. Oh, she couldn't resist. He was her little brother, and they were all the other had had, for ten years.... She discreetly reached over and took his hand, giving it a little squeeze, standing so she was sort of in the way of the others. "You okay, sprig?" she said softly, both about the hand-holding and the situation in general.

OOC: A familiar, eh? I'm intrigued. This is going to be fun. And here I have to go soon.... Meeting a friend for a late birthday gathering.

((Yeah, characters can stay the same. I'll get around to setting this up sometime this week when I'm not busy doing nothing.))

((In the sewers.)) The two groups seem to have met. However, at this point several of the cleaning robots begin to gather above the ladder and in the room below. All of them have the unusual attenea sticking out of their backs, that and apparently a non standard feature of some laser guns. They begin to fire at the group.
