He against his better judgement presses his finger on it

The screen flashes green! As the tubes begin to make a web behind him... stopping his backwards movement... as the cylinder begins to close.

"CONTRACT ACCEPTED. STEP FULLY INTO THE CHAMBER AND YOU WILL BE CONFIGURED FOR YOUR NEW ASSIGNMENT. AS STATED, YOU WILL MAINTAIN AUTONOMY UNLESS YOU BREACH CONTRACT."

He turns to face this new threat, but it seems far off for the meantime. He moves away from the noise, not looking forward to another fight so soon. He looks around for some debris he could use to protect himself, and picks up a small steel rod that most likely had reinforced one of the more damaged walls.

As he moves away, he hears echoing noises in the distance... Click clack... odd tapping noises... rustling... a metallic screeching sound for a moment... as if nails on a chalkboard... or claws on plate steel.

Then, somewhere ahead... the lights cut out in the hallway. And a strange echoing giggle can be heard from the darkness.

He cautiously goes as directed

The cylinder seals around him. It grows increasingly snug... The automated voice from before chirps up. "Please place your chin on the chinrest in front of you! Look straight ahead and keep your eyes open!" In front of him, what looks almost like a face mask snaps into place. A padded rest for his chin, and twin screens where the eyeholes are. They snap to life showing a double vision of what looks like a screensaver.

"Damn..." Heeding Vasily's warning, Alex forgets the barkeeper for now and runs toward the administration tower. It's clear she doesn't know anything, and the less time he spends hanging around a potential threat, the better.

Charlie blushed as the dream mission began to shift into something very different. The gun in his dream hands suddenly felt very heavy as he heard the swish of a dress, and blonde curls fell into his face, and his chest tightened when the person turned around and revealed that warm, smiling face.

"Mommy?", he gasped as he woke from his dream, blue eyes opening wide to look around...



Just like before, there was no give in the suit. When he tugged at his hands and face, the rubbery skin didn't even wrinkle, no hint that it even was a suit. It acted just as if he was pulling on his own skin, except there was no real feeling in it, certainly no pain.

"We need to move to the next room. We'll be punished if we fall behind schedule", says Alice, and she grasps onto Clarke's arm, and pulls him out from the bedroom. She led him through a large living room with red carpets, cream walls and black leather furniture, one side of which was a huge glass window that looked down onto a giant casino floor.

The woman stares as he recedes... rushing off towards the tower. The sense of being watched continues even once she is out of line of sight... The administration tower looms ahead.

Charlie wakes up... on a little cot in a darkened corner of a new room. Pictures of sheeps and animals cover the walls... and a sign over the door to the alcove reads: "Nap Time!" Looking out from the door... he could see a brightly colored room beyond...

His head is still groggy from the dream... and the wonderful contentment that came with being a good girl for her mommy... But as he sits in the darkness, the fuzziness slowly fades. Starting with a panic... Mommy's not around! Mommy's not around. Mommy...? Wait, what was he doing? He shouldn't be acting like a little girl! And such, as the panic fades as he comes to his senses... Though still possessing a tiny, soft body dressed in the frilliest of pink dresses...

Clarke acks! Being tugged along by the woman to the next room... no doubt stumbling in his new feminine footwear. He looks around the room, a confused expression on his face.

Well, that's not creepy at all... But it can wait. For now, Alex continues on toward the tower.

He arrives! A rather perky and curvy woman greets him at the reception desk. "Hi there! Welcome to Starlight Casino Registration!" She clasps her hands together... blonde hair spilling over her chest... which threatened to spill from her top.

Vasily narrows his eyes and stops moving forward. He takes a defensive stance, and then turns on the wrist-mounted light on his suit. "If you are trying to sneak up on me, you are terrible at this."

Four red eyes light up in the darkness... panning his wrist light, he would see the same creature that Alex had met earlier... crouched low to the ground. It crawls forwards on all fours. Moving in an unnatural yet strangely elegant way... also... surprisingly quickly.

Behind him, he hears the faint pounding on the door. The creature pauses as it happens. Tilting its head... one pair of eyes slides to the door... the other... pins Vasily in place.

This isn't good. Vasily doesn't want to know what this thing wants, or what it can do. He assumes neither are good for his well being. He needs to put some space between him and... it. The maid trapped in the room behind him makes backing up an unsure prospect, especially with how strong she was. He frowns. Then, he raises his light to shine it directly in the thing's eyes, and a split second later he hurls his knife at it. That should distract it enough for him to run away from the thing, running right past the blockaded door with the maid inside.

Running past the door, he heads down a short hallway... to a turn right. Down it seem to be more rooms. Behind him... he hears a scrape as the broom is slowly being pulled out from the door. He could turn... and see what it does with the maid... or continue running.
