Apartment Complex

[Teddy]

Genno watched her go, still relaxed. He didn't want to risk it NOT being locked, and wasn't sure what Elise would do to him if he DID peek. He didn't think she'd leave.. But he couldn't stand the thought of her leaving. So, he just sat on the couch, waiting for Elise to walk back out.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise finished her shower in record time, some part of her mind not sure about the possible danger of being seen. It was something she was trying not to think too hard about, as it was a notion that for some reason, made some sort of turmoil kick up inside.... She had to admit she felt better afterwards, though, being clean and dry (except for her hair, which needed the blow-dryer treatment) and wearing fresh clothes. She came out with her other outfit tucked under her arm, still limping a bit. "It's all yours," she said. "I see you behaved yourself. Wanted to stay in one piece, huh?" A little giggle escaped.

[Teddy]

Genno laughed. "Maybe.. But.. I think it'd be worth it." His grin faded, and he looked to her leg. "Are.. Are ya sure you're allright in that leg? I don't want anything to happen to you.. And you're short enough already." He stuck his tongue out at her, laughing a bit.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She stuck her tongue out in response, a laugh escaping despite her effort to remain stern. "I'll be okay," she said. "I just need to make sure not to strain it too much- so no marathons or, hopefully, big fights- and keep it bandaged for a while, with healing ointment. Speaking of which, I still need to do that.... The top one'll be easy, but the one in the back will be tricky, as I really can't see it or anything. So I figured I'd better not linger in there, and do that in my room instead." As much as he teased, she could tell he really did care about her, and the thought made her feel quite good, she had to say.

[Teddy]

He hoped his gentle teasing didn't make him seem like a jerk.. He sighed, looking at Elise's new clothes. "Right.. I've got no other clothes... and these? These are really torn up. Guess I've got other things than food and you ta worry about, huh?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

She smiled, giving him a playful nudge. "Should've packed before you left, then!" she said, tone light enough to show she was kidding him around. "Don't worry, we'll find you something.... Hmm, maybe that new guy next door will loan you something clean until we can get you a few new changes of clothes. You two are about the same size, after all. And he seems pretty nice. Helped me get started finding you yesterday when all the chaos started, so... well, of course that makes me happy." Elise looped both her arms through one of his, giving a little squeeze and briefly resting her forehead on the edge of the cap of his shoulder. "I'm just... so glad things worked out, it would have hurt so much to lose you...."

[Teddy]

"Huh.. There's an idea.. And.. Yeah. Glad ya found me. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I don't know what I'd do withoutcha..." He sighed and looked at the ground. "So.. Whatcha say about gettin' me some clothes?" He hopped up and headed for the door.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"That sounds good," she said, linking her arm through his and going along. "I really don't know what I'd do without you, either. So no, that doesn't sound crazy at all...."

[Teddy]

Genno stepped out of the room, going slow enough for Elise to keep up with him. She was injured after-all, and he didn't want to hurt her anymore. "It's.. Well. Maybe we met before, in a past life?" He went to the next room, and knocked on it..

[Mistress Guendolen]

She shrugged. "Maybe. It... well, that might explain a lot, really...." The quick meeting, the rapid way in which they'd, well, "clicked," even the short amount of time it took for them to realize their feelings for each other. "Maybe we're picking up where we left off before or something...."

[Xiao]

Daniel had slid a pair of fried eggs onto a plate when he heard the knock on his door. After doing a quick scan of the area to make sure that nothing revealing what he was was out in the open, he did his fake limp over to the door, making sure to make it more noticeable due to not having his staff. "Hello, can I help you?" he asked after opening his door.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise smiled a little. "Good morning," she said. "I... I hope we didn't wake you up, but well, could we possibly ask you a bit of an unusual favor? See, this is Gennosuke- Genno- you know, my boyfriend who you helped me get started to find yesterday. But, well, things got kind of- chaotic- and as a result, he got a bit battered, but is currently lacking in a change of clothes.... So, since I remembered you were about the same size, I was wondering... could he possibly borrow a set, just until he can get some more? I know it's a terrible imposition, given our brief acquaintance, but it won't be for long, I assure you. And we'll wash them before giving them back and everything!" The smell of those eggs made her stomach rumble louder. Elise hoped they could go get their own breakfast soon.

[Xiao]

"Oh, sure." Daniel said, taking a step from the door, laughing as he heard Elise's stomach rumble, "You hungry? I was just sitting down for breakfast and I have more than I need." As he was saying this, he began to hobble back to his closet to get an extra shirt and pants.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Thank you...." Still holding Genno's arm, Elise followed him into the apartment. "But really, we couldn't possibly take your food. That would be far too much of an imposition." Her stomach wanted her to accept the offer, but she was far too polite to impose on someone she hardly knew that much. Even if there was a nagging feeling that she ought to know him better than she did.... Hm, another past life friend, perhaps?

[Xiao]

((I'm not sure if I should describe the apartment, so I will anyway.))

The area was still rather bare due to having just moved in the previous day, but it was decently furnished and a few things lay upon the various surfaces that were there. A small bookshelf sat in a corner of the room, but on it seemed to be the fruits of someone's quest to find the longest and most complicated books available. On a small table laying next to a dark green love seat, a fairly complicated, if not a little old, digital camera sat next to a picture which displayed Daniel standing among a cast of various other people, all seeming fairly older than himself. And as said before, a plate lay on a counter next to a range top with two fried eggs on top of it, with a carton now containing four eggs off to the side.

Daniel reemerged from the closet holding a pair of blue jeans and a white T-shirt, "Here you go. And I see that you found who you were looking for last night, everything go smoothly?"
