Just as the situation seems dire, a horn sounds! The gates of the arena open, revealing the garrison of the Emperor's Legion stationed at Overwatch! With a battle cry, the men charge forward, pressing towards the royal box. Their plate armor is black as midnight, speckled with silver stars, the official sigil of the Empire. It is said there is a star for every province. They wield no shields, but all carry two handed greatswords, the silvery blades glittering like starfire.

She staggered backwards as they ran at her, drawing her sword, slicing through one or two before being overwhelmed. One struck her chest, knocking her backwards off the ledge of the seating, and she fell before crashing onto her back in the sand, the wind being knocked from her lungs, dazing her as she heard the horn blaring... her cheeks going red as she heard that voice inside her head, and gasped as the purple light hovered right above her face... her blue eyes struggling to focus, before she let out a groan as it rose away from her.
Several demons leapt down from the stands to surround her, but one took a blast of holy light straight to the face, and another got a kick in the chest as it got too close. She rolled up into a crouch, pulling out her shield, and then let out a yell, charging at a demon, smashing it with her shield before spinning and driving her shield through the chest of another. She lacked her usual grace, and seemed to be exerting the very last of her energy to try and finish of the demons in one final flurry, hacking and slashing and spinning and bashing until they'd all been slain.

He's still accurate, but his rate of fire is lacking.

Victor though somewhat surprised by the situation, at the same point had been in so many of these situations that he easily hid his despite wearing the purest of white, he seemingly faded into the shadows to avoid attention.
Noting that the tide was turning with the introduction of the fresh soldiers he unleashed the healing pray that he had been casting... opening his hand a glowing orb of light emerged from it showering the chamber. As the chant had been extended the power of it likewise increased greatly, transforming it from an ordinary healing spell to a minor divine blessing that would mend moderate level wounds, purify poisons, and revitalize all touched by the light. The wards he had placed earlier throughout the grounds also shimmering with the same light each disbursing as there power was used up.

Good. THey'll deal with it.

The man himself seems slightly put off at it still moving around (And well, trying to brutally ill him), but he recovers after a moment, and yanks on his blade, trying to cut up and through the creature! If he notices the shiny-bladed newcomers he seems to care little at the moment...

The creatures speed proved to be to greater than the priest expected, as upon nearing completion of the circle Francis ended his chant and started to run, in hopes of gaining enough distance to try again, almost too distracted to notice the overwatchs timely arrival.
