The serpant looks from you, to the creature, then back to you, "Your gift is quite generousss, but it'sss not quite my tassste." somehow manages to say it 'driely' ( )

[Millinescence]

For Davina and Juliana hear a gun shot followed by a man landing in the spring, closely followed by a lizard falcon thingy. The second doesn't land in the spring...

*SPLAAAASH!*

The pilot lands, sending water everywhere! For awhile it seems he might not surface... but eventually he does! Crawling to shore, dripping wet... he still makes sure it is the opposite shore from the girls and serpent.

And somehow, he managed to keep ahold of his pistol.

"Wooow..." Davina says in awe at the epic splashdown. "Mister! Hey, mister! Are you alright?" The faerie calls out to the pilot as she flies over toward him.

((What last bit? Are you talking about the bog?))

Julianna blinks as she watches all that happened and quickly starts to fly after Davina, toward the pilot.

[Knight Errant]

The pilot gets to his feet, head ringing. He nearly collapses but manages to stay up. "'sa lizard bird... prolly tastes like chicken..." With the water in his helmet and the shield in front of his eyes, its hard to tell if he actually realized the serpent was talking.

He stumbles back as he sees a shape approach! Raising his gun at Davina. "Stay 'way... you another monster trying to eat me? Oh Sasha... my Sasha... your gone an I'm still here..." He does collapse with that, falling to his knees.

Ken, the pilot, has just crawled out of Serveah's spring after making a splash landing. The creature that had attacked him is a crumpled mess next to the spring, Serveah, doesn't seem very ammused by the man's entrence. The faries, Davina and Juliana, are returning to the spring to make sure the man is ok...
(just 'cause I feel like it)
and the LIzard/bird suddenly became a bag and a bottle with blue liquid inside

"Wasss thisss Sssasha your... sssignificant other?" sounds mildly interested, swims closer, "Oh, yesss, the little fariesss that don't even reach your wassste are going to eat you. The one usssing the other like a life line ssseemsss particularly threatening." ...sounds ammused

[Knight Errant]

"..." Ken removes his helmet, revealing he has black hair and green eyes underneath. "Faeries... and... a talking serpent. I must have flown through the Bermuda Triangle somehow..."

He holsters his pistol after the second try, still feeling shell shocked from the high speed impact.

"Sasha was... my livelihood. She carried me through the air, helped me put bread on the table, but it was more than that. I made sure to keep her in top shape... always. Some pilots thought I was wasting my time... but if you dont care for what keeps you alive in the sky... what can you care for?"

He hangs his head. "But she is gone now... that monster ripped me from her. And now she must lie somewhere in the forest... broken beyond saving. If only I had been more alert! If only I had seen that thing sooner and avoided it! Its all my fault..."

[the unbalanced one]

James by this point could barely even form a coherent thought...but seeing that the chest possibly made the other girl just...vanish..she tried to clear her head. "What..what in the world was all of that about?! Why am I a girl? Why am I younger then I was! I want out of this nightmare!"

Serveah looks at Ken with a raised eyebrow... well ridge? Whatever. Ken then finds himself being drenched by a wave made by the serpant. "Really? You blame yourssself for not paying attention? That wasss a creature that can turn invisssible, and can move with frightening ssspeed for short periodsss of time. Short of a dragon, nothing in the valley messsesss with thossse(can't think of actual name...). If there wasss sssomething you could have done, chancccesss are you would not be in thisss valley."

As Davina listens to Ken and Serveah talk about how vicious and scary that lizard-thing was, she notices a bag where said monster should have been. She flies over to it and takes out the bottle with the blue liquid. "Hey, what's this? Where did the monster go?" The fae asks.

(the bottle was next to the bag, the bag has something else)
The blue liquid looks quite refreshing, which is odd when you consider the fact that right next to it is a perfectly good spring and not much farther a stream.

[Knight Errant]

Ken shakes the water off from the splash! "Hey... dont you think I am wet enough?!" He then quiets as the serpent speaks.

When it is done. "... well I feel a bit better about that. I wondered how it appeared from nowhere... Still, I'm glad I killed it."

He looks over to it... or rather where it was. "... huh? What happened?" He goes over, looking at the bottle... then peeks into the bag.

Inside the bag are about a dozen gold coins, about the size of a 50 cent piece.

Ken blinks. "Whoa..." He looks over to the serpent. "What is this, my reward for taking out the big bad lizardhawk?"

He picks up the bag, and after a thought, the bottle too. He takes a sniff at the blue liquid.
