[FFRP] Shining Heart 1 RPG Arcade

As the game continued, a new player approached the modest-looking arcade stand. HIs tall, bulky frame was wrapped in a black leather jacket with the japanese kanji for destruction emblazoned in white on the back. His blue denim, boot-cut jeans and wicked-looking spurred riding boots completed the ensemble - he played the biker very well. He whipped a switch-comb through his slicked-back black hair and flashed a mischievous smile to the arcade clerk. "So I heard there was a new arcade around here," he stated nonchalantly, his vocal inflection far more sophisticated than what his uncouth appearance would suggest. "Well, I figured I may as well set a high score or two now. After all, it's bound to happen eventually." He extended a hand to the woman, flashing that sardonic grin again. "I'm Lance. A pleasure. Now what sort of games do we have here?"

Jolene nods to Melody. "I'm good to go. Glad to here we get more accessories eventually, too. And that I can cast lots of spells without needing to rest!"

"Umm..." Harriette looks around at everybody in the room. "I guess I'm ready to go too..."

(I'm sorry for falling behind, what's going on?)

Basically, everybody has gotten grouped instead of you, but if what I'm seeing is correct, it seems like the mecha girl and demoness are in need of a third person. Of course, it seems we have a couple more people joining us, so that's always an option.

OOC: is it too late to do a Senshi of healing type character or with light based attacks?

The new attendant woman, Sasha, smiled, giving a slight bow. A thin pink blouse showed off her ample bosom quite well, and the jeans she was wearing made her look slim and sexy. Her high heel shoes gave her an extra bit of height, pushing her meager 5' 3" to 5' 6". Her short length brown hair framed her face quite nicely, only adding to her cuteness. She smiled at the newcomers. "Welcome to the Shining Hearts RPG Arcade! We don't really have a variety of games, just the first installment in the Shining Hearts Role Playing Game! In it, you make a character to take on the forces of evil alongside other players, only in this game, the characters are cute anime girls, and the job classes are all based on anime girl types, like Nurse, Maid, Bride, Magical Girl (or Senshi), so on and so forth. So, can I interest you two in a game?"


Meanwhile, the girls inside the white room are grouped up, and about ready to go, when Melody suddenly gets something on her personal messenger. A small screen appears in front of her face, showing a quick message. She sees it, and smiles. "OH! Well, it looks like we have a couple of other characters joining us! You girls up for waiting to welcome the newcomers?"

[Blindsense]

Lance grinned sardonically. "Anime girls?" He scoffed. "Well, I don't care if the characters in the game are four-armed acid blobs - I still intend to set a high score." He whipped out his leather wallet in a flash, handing the woman a twenty-dollar bill. "Keep the change," he said, his grin ever-present on his handsome, angled features. It was clear that this man wasn't the rugged, malevolent biker that he appeared to be - he was far too sophisticated and well-spoken for that to be true. "Now, as for the type of character I'd like to play... Is a Kunoichi an available option? I always have favored subterfuge over direct assault."

[Melkorios]

"Why, yes! Female ninja are an available option in the game! Allow me to set you up." She begins typing into a nearby computer. "Your name, sir?"

[Blindsense]

"Lance Dulac." He grinned - there were few things in the world that Lance enjoyed more than jumping headfirst into a new arcade game. Now he would attempt to break the game - using his cold, calculative nature, he would systematically dismantle the system of the game. Normally it took him only a few minutes into a session to find the trick or technique that he needed to win. He was sure that this case would be the same.

..: Feel free to give his character overactive emotions or something to counteract his nature. XD :.

She smiles, typing in a bit more data, before pointing over towards the back of the room. "The pods are right that way sir, go into an open one, and you'll get set up. Melody will be waiting for you inside, she'll help explain matters better, kay?"

Melody shrugs at the other girls. "Nope, won't know until they actually log in, I'm afraid."

[Blindsense]

"Right..." The man stepped inside of the nearest unoccupied pod, examining the console. "This is awfully isolated for an arcade room... Usually they're far more social." To Lance, virtual reality suggested a 3D helmet and motion sensing controls - he had no idea about the level of immersion in this game. He waited patiently for the pod to start up.

"Question, guess i should have asked this earlier but is there PVP" Justina asked the whoever was in charge... thoughts of griefing one of the other players passing through her mind.

Lee Akuno, older brother of Li and Lin Akuno, comes to the new arcade and sees Sasha there. "Hi, I here your Virtual reality game looks cool and all. How much is it and what classes do you have available....? Do you have maybe a medical ninja type, like in Naruto, or a Senshi type healer, or elementalist?"

"Ugh... I hope there's no PvP, I'd rather not get hit by friendly fire, by accident or otherwise." Harriette says, knowing what Justina is probably thinking of doing. "So when are the new players coming? I'm sick of seeing this white room, it makes my eyes hurt."

"Hope so."

[Melkorios]

Melody looks at the rest of them. "From the sounds of it, the new players will be coming soon. As for PvP, there is an arena system in which players can fight each other, but only in the arena, so you can't suddenly turn on your friends or anything like that."

Sasha looks at Lee. "Unfortunately, we have no healer ninjas, and as far as elementalists go, we have Senshi, in which you can choose an element to focus on, including something paired with healing, if that is what you so choose."

Lance doesn't have to wait long before the pod boots up, flipping through the character pictures before coming to one of a cute ninja girl with short black hair and a cute pink kunoichi outfit. His name appears next to the picture, but only lingers for a couple of seconds before turning pink and shifting into Laura. Suddenly, Lance is enveloped in a bright flash of pink light. He can feel himself rapidly shrinking, getting smaller, softer, and lighter, his skin smoother. His chest, however, gets a bit of weight as a pair of new breasts sprout, and he feels himself, or rather, herself, pushed up on high heels. Finally, the light fades, and Laura suddenly finds herself standing in a white room, with other girls in various costumes around her.
