Lily smiles. "Our eyes should adjust, at least enough to see while we get into range. We stay low to the ground, and when we get close enough, we can see using THEIR lights. And I'm not worried about them robbing it, I'm wondering if they OWN it."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Speak for yourself. I always trip over things when I can't see.... Heck, I tend to trip over things when I can see. And you think they own this site? How? We'd have to have gotten their permission to dig here, right?"

[Stellar]

Holly stood beside the two listening intently to their conversation. Then she took it gracefully upon herself to inspect the light ahead. She tightened her grip on her blanket and moved forward holding her light up some. At this moment, she blacked out hearing anything the other two might be saying and proceeded to the source of the light on the ground.

When she reached the forests edge where the light sat, she looked down uppon it.

Holly found what appeared to be a glowing bead, which might remind her of the crystal. In fact, it was the pebble that Lily had left behind. The hair that made the necklace portion was a little glistening sliver of a stream from one end of the pebble to the other.

[Stellar]

"Wow..." Holly whispered as she kneeled down and picked it up without thinking. She let her blanket fall to the ground so she had the spare hand, and with that hand she traced her finger tips over the pebble and the silver thread.

"Speak for yourself. I always trip over things when I can't see.... Heck, I tend to trip over things when I can see. And you think they own this site? How? We'd have to have gotten their permission to dig here, right?"

"You can't trip when you're on all fours. And, we would only have gotten permission if we knew they were there. They could have been hiding, and...where's Holly?"

Lily slaps herself on the forehead, and crawls after Holly. Keeping mer machete handy in case a quick rescue was needed.

When she gets there, she whistles. "Is that...the pebble?"

Said pebble winks to a bluish color, then back to white, as if in reply.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Brenna shrugged and crept over, snapping twigs in her path all along the way. "Ouch... That hurt!" She stumbled a bit as she went over to the other two. "What pebble?... Ooooh, so pretty!" She leaned in closer, trying to lightly touch the glowing stone in Holly's hands. "Just like the crystals over there."

Lily doesn't touch it. "That is the pebble. The one on a string of hair, the one that I found in the forest." She stands up. "It's resonating. Is it resonating with the crystals, or is it resonating with us. That glistening stream, is that the hair? It's so beautiful. Does it react to darkness somehow, or was the rock the trigger?"

[Mitera Nikkou]

The pebble winked to a bluish color and back when Lily said "resonating with the crystals" (should be non-plural XD), "resonating with us", and "was the rock the trigger." Whether if anyone notices a correlation between the times that it winks in relation to what was said, depends on them. Or they could assume it blinks for some other reason, or at random.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Look! It blinks! I wonder if there's a reason for it, or if it's just sort of a random pattern.... Can I hold it, Holly?"

[Stellar]

"You said you found it inside the forest?" Holly asked Lily handing the stone to Brenna. And before Lily had a chance to answer Holly made her way into the woods, leaving her blanket where it fell, and with disreguard for what the other girls might think.

When the pebble touches Brenna's palm, it wink to that bluish color again, and then back to the white it usually glowed.

In the forest, Holly can feel a slight breeze, one that wasn't outside of the forest a second ago.

Holly continues through the forest, watching her steps, and looking around. She thought the breeze was rather plesant, and thought nothing more on it.

It's rather hard to look around, as it's near pitch under the canopy of the trees. You (Holly) hear some shuffling in the bushes, squeaks by some prey being caught by its predator, and other noises indicating nocturnal activity. By now the trees behind you are dense enough to hide any light from the pebble, and going forward any further doesn't feel like a good idea. You just seemed to sense the feeling, as if you had a conscience talking to you unconsciously.
