Greg smirked at Surge's age comment, wondering if Surge realized the importance of that fact, "Well I'm not about to let this van outta my sight, so I'll meet you guys at the base." he said as he began to make sure Dan and Ashton were on the helicopter. The armored boy made no moves against Greg's assumed authority and got in the bird as well. "I'll catch up don't worry about me." he smiled as he continued to sit in the van's spacious backseat. The boy looked to Julian, "We'll take you there, it's a bit south, but not too far off for a helicopter."

Rachel nodded, "All right..." she said as she was tugged behind Alana. "What are we going to do once we're out?"

Outside the crack in the door, there was...nothing...it looked like one solid color. And that's when Chris would realize that the solid color was the armor hull of something...big. A pneumatic claw in the shape of a slender hand grabbed the door Chris was hiding behind and ripped it off its hinges. A towering automaton stood above the experienced boy. He may recognize it as a slightly newer version from the older mechs the girls had made almost a year ago. On the metallic head a visor cleared up revealing a girl pilot within the shell, "You are ordered to surrender or leave." she said as the visor fogged up again, hiding her eyes, as her pneumatic hand swapped out for a large cannon that glowed a slightly green.

The Hierarch merely smiled, "That, dear Charlotte, is the test of the boy's brains. If he accepts the condition, he lives, nobody dies. If he does not comply...we'll need to build another shelter for the transforming girls." Mary Anne frowned and looked to the pacing girl. No more thuds sounded from outside their room.
It's not about how much dough you make -- it's about how delicious a pizza you eat at the end.
