(( I appoligize for my absence today... Coincidentally, I was dealing with storms all day as well. (well, that and catching up on some Tales of Vesperia while the cable was out... Heh.) I have lots to catch up on... I sorry! As for Rena, I dunno how much we'll see of her today. She was working all day, sooo I dunno. Regardless, I'll do my best to maintain things for now, while hopefully staying fairly stationary for her sake.
Also, hope you're all enjoying this! Feel free to PM me with cameos you'd like to see in the RP... I already gave you Goku. =P ))
"Look," Doc sighed, "I know this all looks very suspicious... But at the moment you folks don't have much of a choice. Those of you who haven't transformed are probably going to pretty soon... Ah, you see? Case and point." He pointed in Ashton's direction, and everyone could see that his hair had lightened several shades, coming off as a bright pink, like a rose His eyes also seemed to follow suit, the irises taking on the same vibrant rose hue. His frame shrank dramatically, as he gained womanly curves in all the right places. His skin became smooth and silky, all traces of male-pattern body hair vanishing without so much as a tickling sensation. Ashton could feel an uncomfortable burning sensation as his ears shifted upwards and changed shape, forming two pink, catlike ears that sat at the crown of his head. Finally, the undeniable mark of femininity set in as two modest globes pushed out of the unfortunate victim's chest, the defining mark of the boy's masculinity disappearing, leaving behind something decidedly more feminine.
"Hmm... The transformation is speeding up," Doc mused as he examined the new
catgirl in front of him. "Go get dressed, Ichigo - I have several sets of your costume upstairs, I believe."
He turned to the others, a solemn expression on his chubby face. "I suppose I have some explaining to do... My old college friend from MIT seems to be responsible for this, as I've told you. He runs an entertainment technology and design company out of Japan... Heck, he's practically cornered the market over there. Back in school, he was always talking about how the real world was so bland compared to the anime of his homeland... Apparently, this is the result. I have no idea how he did it, but the minute that machine turned up, I figured it was his doing..." He shook his head at the thought. "I really couldn't do anything about it, unfortunately... And now, this is happening. I called my other friend the minute the machine blew up..." Doc shot a furtive glance at Chu - now Rita - at this. "He was the only guy who came anywhere close to being on the same intellectual level as the guy who seems to be causing all this... I'm hoping he'll be able to help."
Sure enough, light footsteps echoed through the basement-turned-escape-hatch as an individual wraithed in darkness emerged from the tunnel. "Unbelievable... I never thought he'd try something this moronic." The individual before them was clad in deep purple body armor, a flame-red longsword grasped in one hand and an intricately-crafted shield strapped onto the other. His hair was a touch darker than his sword, the blood-red color reminiscent of a fine wine.
Doc couldn't help but laugh at his friend's less-than-spectacular entrance. "
Kratos... That figures."
