As the group entered, they didn't even need to ask who was Mendi... the man had a presence of authority but if you want details on his looks here Huge man, medium build for his size, however naturally very tall, His huge size doesn’t reflect his speed or agility however. He has a chiseled face with a large scar that runs down his left cheek all the way to his throat. He usually either wears a Red robe that has the clan Takimoto clan symbol on the back. He doesn’t wear on anything on his head leaving his hair buzzed almost to the point of being bald.

Mendi was sitting at a Large Desk in the center of the room with a rather bored manner with stacks of paper work at his desk, without looking up from the papers on his desk he asked.
"So your the Konoha ninja's that entered the City earlier" he stated in a matter of fact tone. "So what business does Konoha have with me."

*as shiki entered the room his eyes focused on the man before them before tensing up slightly almost to a unnoticable degree.*

[what the hell is with this guys astral body... i've never seen anything like it before... even that weirder then that orange kid i've seen around town's.] (he can see it as part of his blood limit.)

Miharu raises an eyebrow at Shiki. ::Hmm whats got him..:: he leans over and whispers. "Somthing the matter?"

Rene eyes the man for a second, and deciding he seems friendly...enough.

"Well, we were here to deliever a package, and then recieve something in return...Konoha's finest, delievering scrolls for a living!"

Rene says, with an obvious tone of some annoyance.

"I was told that i could give this to you in Cathri-sama's absense." She says, holding out the scroll.

Mera during all political talk had apparently fallen asleep and was following the group while sleep walking though he needed to be directed.. but the dog collar did that well enough... though the inu mimi ears they put on his head was probably overkill.

Mendi picked up the scroll "And why didn't you just send a messanger bird... " opening the scroll up he quietly read it "oh ...ok that would explain it"pondering for a second "Unfortunately we are currently out of the items requested. The latest restock of the items was suppose to have arrived two days ago however obvious it still hasn't arrived."

"Normally we would send a search party but obviously you can tell we are currently lacking personel, things are a bit busy around here. Either way you'll most likely have to wait till the next shipment arrives, unless... you want to find it yourselves... of course if you do the work for us we will reimburse you by deducting the pirce on the items."

Shiki lisitened to the long winded speech, only taking a brief moment to responsed to Miharu "it's nothing." as if waving it off.

[ah well it can't be that bad... shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, i mean i doubt he would have gotten elected otherwise.]

Mera leans against the wall again, amazingly staying up as he sleeps. The others talk a he bobs his head in his sleep, the inu-ear bobing with him.

"Well....I dont think we can wait so..."

Rene takes another look at the scroll, reading what is required.

Miharu is unsure. :::Hmm now what does that scroll say, sounds pretty important.::: "Sensei what does the scroll say?"

*Listed on the scroll was various exhotic trade goods, most of which no one in the group had heard of, the list ranged from Bakalite Corpse Crystals, vinulis trellis buds, to even strangerly worded items.*

Mendi spoke while the group was reading the list. "To be honest we have roughly half of those items in stock, however like i said the other half has been delayed for reasons unknown."

Miharu raises an eyebrow. "What are suchs things used for?" he ask Mendi.

"Miharu has a point. Why would these specific items be of use?"

Mendi could only shake his head. "Has konoha really gotten that lax with procedures...? " shruging his shoulders... "How would i know what they plan to use them for, it's a person from your city that wants the goods not me you should have asked from before you accepted your mission."

Mendi lean back agianist his chair in a relaxed manner "Either way you really have 3 choices 1. head back with half your goods and your mission half completed, 2. wait for a month + for the next shipment to arrive 3. the offer i gave you before."

noting shiki staring intently at him... "what kid do i have something on my ..." his words were interrupted by Mera's snoring... looking at mera "i guess konoha really is short of ini, if there sending such green ears out."

[shiki's staring at Mendi however was due to his interest in Mendi Astral soul's shape... his gut instinct was telling him it was dangerious while his mind was curious either way he was going to keep his distance]

Miharu sighs. "Well, sir I didn't know what we where picking up. If they are gone missing one would assume they have been stolen. From what it sounds like none of that is food. So I assumed for somone to "steal" it, it has to be of some importants" he then bows as a sign of showing no disrespect.

Rene sighs. "Right, well I dont want a mission half complete, so, I suppose we'll need to find the things ourselves....

Do you know where we could find such things?"

smiling Mendi spoke "So we have a agreement then." standing up at full hieght he was a enomerous man "Well we know the general route they normally take however how much it might have diveraged is unknown. "

*Pointing to a large map behind him, Mendi with his hand traced the path they would have taken*

"I may be able to lend you a boat but as i said we are short handed or else we would have resolved it our selves so sailors and such you would have to aquire yourself, unless you know how to sail."
