[Mitera Nikkou]

(OOC: Actually, MoS, that's probably a good estimation of what Tetsuo was thinking, being so involved as he was in manga, anime, and the like.)

Tetsuo felt herself being carried, and she had her eyes clenched tight, due to the pain from her injuries. But she was able to hear TP, and was able to mutter, "no, don't..." weakly, unheard to TP, but, perhaps, caught by either Catnip or Neko.

Catnip and Neko, not hearing, continue carrying him away from the fight, and have officially gotten in the next corridor.

Catnip looks to Neko. "At the junction in the next section, we take a right, your left, and we'll get to a medical bay. It should have a guide on what to do. I'm not really good at this, I mainly know what places hurt when you punch or shoot them. You any good?"

Neko shakes her head. "No, I never studied medicine. I'm only three, remember?"

"Oh, yeah. Come on Tetsuo, stay with us."

[Mitera Nikkou]

"No... Death... D-don't kill..." She strained to get out, still rather quiet, being weak and all in voice.

Even if they did hear what she had said, they'd probably misinterpret it. She had a picture of Genno in a prone position, frozen in time as the deathstroke arrives, her will only saving him in her mind.

[Xiao]

Xiao laid on his back on the floor, grabbing on to his staff before it rolled out of the entrance. He continued to wait and rest for a few minutes, or at least until (or ir) he heard any fight sounds.

[Teddy]

"Look.. I didn't mean to hit him... Her. Whatever. I was actually aiming for YOU. And you can't be grateful enough to THANK her? To say that it's a great thing that she f****** cared enough for you to take a hit like that for you? She wanted the fighting to stop... And this is how you're going to let it end?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Hurry hurry hurry hurry- That's what the rhythm of her footsteps seemed to be saying, echoing in the empty halls.... Elise ran, following the guide of her dowsing crystal as it swung and pointed different ways; she hardly noticed her breath shortening, she was so intent on getting to Genno in time.... Hurry hurry hurry-
She tore around a corner- there were sounds in the distance, a crash, yelling- she tried to run even faster- and sprinted around one more bend... only to reel to a stop. There was Genno. He was down. He looked hurt. And there was a girl- a catgirl- kneeling over him, with- with a knife in her hand....
A white-hot anger shot through Elise. Genno was saying something to the catgirl, but the words didn't register. All she saw was that someone was threatening her boy.... And she was not going to stand for it.
Without giving it a second thought, she shot forward like a small blonde Valkyrie, umbrella held like a samurai sword. "Get your paws off my boyfriend, wench!" And then she swung the umbrella at the catgirl's head, like a baseball bat, aiming for the temple. Her custom-made, heavy-duty, steel-reinforced umbrella....

Teacher's Pet laughs. "And it will stop, just as soon as you..." Then she's knocked to the side by the umbrella, the last thing she hears before blissful sleep awakens her, is that she was called a wench.

Catnip and Neko make it to the medical room, and begin to move Tetsuo onto the table. Neko cuts her cheerleader costume off, while Catnip moves to get something cold, and a book on how to deal with burns.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise let out a rush of air; one half of her felt oddly drained, but the other half energized. It- it worked! She held her hands out to Genno, to help him up if need be. "C- c'mon," she said, finding her voice, oddly, a little shaky. "L-let's get you out of here before she wakes up...." I'll tell you after I get you off this thing....

[Teddy]

"Elise?!" Genno ignored the environment around him, that he was nearly dead, that he was still stuck on a blimp. He lept up, not even taking her hand, dipped her down, and kissed her.

In the bars, Rose suddenly perks up. "Ah sense a disturbance in the force..."

Scientia doesn't respond, just plots Neko-cide.

She couldn't help it- a little gasp emerged. That had been... unexpected....
But this- this kiss felt different. The others had been quick, but this one- there was an energy, something there.... Of course, being tipped over backwards probably had something to do with it, but only a little....
She wound her arms around his neck, holding on tight. A little sigh escaped. And she subconsciously decided to show, rather than tell, him how she felt. She may not have been an experienced kisser (this being only her third kiss ever, and the first one she'd actually had time to respond to), but well, where technique lacked, enthusiasm and feelings would hopefully make up for it.... Perhaps shyly, perhaps untutored, but full of pure heart, Elise kissed him back.

"Elise?!" Genno ignored the environment around him, that he was nearly dead, that he was still stuck on a blimp. He lept up, not even taking her hand, dipped her down, and kissed her.

Time stopped to Gennosuke, and all that mattered was Elise, all that had EVER mattered was Elise... But eventually, reality crept back into his mind, screwing his perfect situation. He let out a small sigh, straightening back up and brought Elise back with him. He couldn't think of anything to say, and only chuckled, whispering "Thank you..." Into her ear.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She held onto him tightly for a moment. Her head was still spinning from the power of this kiss.... But gradually it slowed, and reality began to invade for her, as well. Still, she couldn't resist the urge to lean into him for just a second longer. "Y-you're welcome," she said, quiet enough to practically be a whisper. "B-but, we'd better g-go.... We can... do that more later...."

OOC: Hey, when he dipped her back, was it standing up or did he drop down on one knee and sort of drape her across the other? Because I'm thinking I might try to draw this moment, and I want to get it just right.

(OOC: You know, I still think it's funny how often someone can exclaim something before an attack and still catch someone off guard. ^_^; )

Tetsuo sucks in air through her teeth while she squirmed in pain, her burns being aggitated by her weight on them as well as her movement. It was probably only due to focusing her mind away from the pain, hoping that whatever kind of regeneration that she had would help pull her through sooner rather than later, that she only shed some tears instead of crying.

(By the time Teacher's Pet realized that someone had just called her a wench, she was already unconscious. She was too focused on Genno to be able to react.)

Neko looks at the burns. Most of them are first degree burns, though Tetsuo has at least one third degree on his left arm, though it's a small one. She soaks all the burns in cold water using the cloth, and Tetsuo can feel the pain lessen. Neko begins bandaging the wounds, while Catnip runs over with an IV. Tetsuo's feeling a bit thirsty, but it crosses her mind that she probably just needs a drink of water. Her mouth is dry too.

Catnip injects the IV into Tetsuo's arm, after making sure to get a vein. "Okay, you're lost some fluid, but you should be okay. The IV will help for a bit, and keep you from going into shock. I'd get you a drink of water, but you'd probably puke it back up!"

Neko pulls a face, as she finishes bandaging Tetsuo's wounds. "Okay, you should feel a lot less pain now."

Tetsuo can talk normally, but her throat is dry.

Genno, you were able to tell just about which way Tetsuo, Catnip, and Neko went.
