Looking behind them, Samual recognizes the magic nature of the flames. With a pull and twist, he lifts Adrianto his shoulder and increases his speed to outrun the flames

"Gah! Put me down!", whined Adrian, although instinctively she clung onto Sam, and equally as importantly, the toy dog with all her tools in. Her heart was racing in her chest, her dress rustling against Sam's head as she squirmed and twisted, looking back at the advancing flames, "Where did that other guy go?", she yelled. In the back of her head, she was quite worried about still being in the castle all this time after she'd transformed, although her more immediate concern was staying alive!

Presuming the other guy is following.. because why stand in flames... its not wow its not a buff, Sam feels the tickle of something ahead... it seems he was trapped between two curses*

I'm sure this would have been avoided had anybody been bold enough to treat her with actual respect." She walks over to the nearest wall. "No exits, eh?" She breathes deep and expels as concentrated a fire as she can manage at the wall, attempting to just blast through it.

She looks over the work with her fists on her hips. "Well, that didn't work. Taking bets this will, though!" With the word 'this' she kicks the wall as hard as she can.

When the torch fell to the ground, and the princesses room caught on fire, Cain decided to follow Sam and Adrian. Despite the young girl's peculiar taste in objects to covet, the pair didn't seem to bad. And Sam at least had a plan. Of course, the fire following them was not to be expected. "Any plans to get this fire away from us?" he asks the two. "Doubt my sword can do anything here."

"This would never have happened if we'd left when I said... ", complained Adrian from up on Sam's shoulders. Despite how embarrassing it was, she was kinda grateful than the warlock had scooped her up, as even just a short distance of running and tired her little legs. Her blonde curls swished about as she looked back at the flames, "Just keep running!".
