Blushing brightly, he looked right into her eyes as she grabbed him by the shoulders, "Hey, it's not that I can't be brave... I just didn't know where to go... ", he started to explain, before she cut him off. He looked rather suprised at how much she seemed to want to preserve his memories and personality, but before he could say anything more, she was gone. He stood there, staring, until she was out of sight, and then drew a deep breath, smoothing the clothing out, and sweeping the pigtails back over his shoulders. After a couple of minutes hesitating, he set off, heading towards the tall building the girls had claimed as their own, trying his very best to walk like he belonged in the heels.
He was thankful it wasn't too light out yet, after how easily that girl with the roster had realised he wasn't a girl. If this was going to work long term, he had to get Julie and Alyse to do a lot more with his appearance. As he got closer to the main building, he started spotting the sentries on the rooftops or in windows. In an effort to NOT look suspicious, he nodded to a couple, and even saluted a few more from a distance. However, it wasn't going to be THAT easy. An open-top, painted-pink jeep was parked on a street corner, one girl sat across it's hood, and another two stood chatting to her. All three were armed, and dressed in skimpy vests and short camo-print skirts, but their conversation seemed light-hearted enough.
It wasn't like he could even pause and think things through, as that would definitely look suspect. He kept walking, his heart going a little faster inside his chest. Maybe if he just kept walking, they wouldn't care, but... they'd probably want to know what anyone was doing outside that early when they clearly weren't part of the base defense. He didn't feel anywhere near confident enough in his disguise to have three girls entirely focused on him like that, but perhaps... if he could distract them from studying him too closely.
"Morning, ladies... ", he spoke up, doing his best to keep his tone high. "I don't suppose you've seen a blonde girl in a girl scout uniform, about this high?", he asked, holding his hand, about level with his chest, but away from his body so they wouldn't be gazing right at him. "She's one of our best spies, but she should have been back by now. The captain is worried sick... ".
