"Um...421, you're welcome to stop by; I'll make sure to have enough hard liquor for the both of us ," Ken says as he walks away, very nsure of what he jsut witnessed. Am I going crazy?!!

as you walk to your apartment the lights in the hall go out....crap....

As the emergency lights turn on you see somethings naked, and yet not human by any means in front of you....the mass of muscle and flesh stands before you with an elongated lower jaw, like something off of spawn, and has no resemblance of a face. It is completely hairless, and it is screaming and shaking violently in a seizurelike blur infront of you. The monster reaches out, and then there is a flash of light before you are hit.

The smell of smoke fills your nostrils....and a ruined city lays before you. You are atop of a mass of rubble and the sky is a deep red and orange, the city is smouldering and you see bones littered before you. You see a bright light beside you, and you see a female angel within it. She is holding a small child who looks sickly and frail. She looks to you and says...."Inherit the Earth."

You see the beasts hand rush at your face, and before you can think...you dodge! The monster stops shaking and tilts its head, puzzled. As it does so you see a ghost image overlap the monster, acting out what the monster is about to do, before it does it. The ghost image reaches to uppercut your head.

Ken: as you stand up, the world flashes before you, and the walls melt...(feel free to hallucinate as you wish for the next 12 hours)

"What the hell?" Ken cries as the walls become black, taking on the texture of flesh and began to throb and pulse. Before him stands a 9 foot, impossibly spindly humanoid creature with chiten encrusted black flesh, four arms, and three digited hands and feet clad in a flowing red robe. All of the creature's facial features are hidden, save for four glowing orange slits for eyes and a fang filled, freakishly distended maw. It smiles, a grotesque site, and says, "Don't worry, all will be clear very soon..."

The room flashes a violent orange and Ken finds himself back in his apartment, though it would appear that the walls are bleeding quite profusley.

"Oh dear god in heaven..." is all he can manage to say...

Derek shivers..."Kay, what's going on here?" The lights go out, "Oh, just great, and I paid the electric bill while I was out too.." The power comes back on. "We have got to find a better place than this dump, with that murderer on the loose and all. Better yet, we'd better help our neighbors. Somehow, we need to get their phone numbers and call them..."

I don't think it is smart to use the phone. The killer might be listening.

Derek shakes his head..."You got a point there, sis. So, we going to wait until Mr. Face Off guy decides to pull a Nightmasre on our street and visit us in our dreams, rip our faces off like he did to that guy on the sixth floor?"

OOC: kay and Derek live on the 4th floor near Steve , Ken, and the others. What will happen next?

The fact that the doors were locked didn't ease Julian a bit, as he finds himself unable to concentrate at all on studying. He sat up, noticing from the open window the layer of snow settling outside . "Wow...its snowing, its like a scenario out of some slasher flick, definitely not a good sign." he commented before moving back towards the door, taking a curious look through the door's peephole and making sure the locks were still in place.

I pop a few pills to clear my head, and then wonder what I'm going to do. Clearly, this situation is dangerous. As such I need a weapon. After cursing about the fact that I do not own a gun, I use what I have at hand instead.

I duct tape my fiercest knife to the end of two hockey sticks to form a makeshift spear. I put on several extra layers as clothes, in case this winter thing isn't kidding. I take all the vital supplies I have in my apartment (A battery radio, blankets, long lasting food stuffs, some more knives and a deck of cards, among other things) and shove them into my hiking backpack.

Having everything I could ever need from my apartment, and perhaps a little uncomfortable under all this clothing, I head off to Ken's apartment to take him up on that offer...

The teenager drops the mask onto the desk and stumbles backwards, holding his head. He trips on something on the floor and trembles, almost at the point of screaming himself. It takes him minutes, but he finally recomposes himself and stands up. "Dammit, Nicholas. Get a hold on yourself. All this is insane... that murder was insane, the mask appearing out of nowhere is insane, and now those.... voices, those screaming voices... that's insane as well." The teenager stumbles to his bathroom and takes a bath. When he comes out, he puts on his clothing and takes one final look at his room. And the mask.

"That's just plain insane..."

Nicholas (Or Nick for short) leaves the apartment and plans to head to his British Medieval Literature class.

Derek: you hear a commotion outside, when suddenly a brown/ frost covered dog gets thrown through your window, and standing outside, hunched over, is the werewolf.

Nick: during class you just sit there half asleep all day, doodling the mask

Ken sits at his small dining table, staring at the strange, red-robed humanoid that appeared earlier.

"...just what the hell's going on...?" he asked meekly.

"You're not going insane if that's what you're implying. Quite the opposite really: you're awakening to the true nature of reality." the creature said.

Ken pondered this for a moment as the floor began to turn into what looked like a dark watered lake, "Ookaay...that doesn't expalin why I'm freakin out here, or what what you said means..."

"Everyone expierences odd sights when they awaken. To put it in terms that you can understand, you're becoming a mage." the creauture says, sipping what looks suspiciously similar to blood from a teacup.

Julian took another look at the peephole, it being the 7th time he did so within the last few hours...he couldn't remember how many hours have passed, although he didn't manage to get any sleep at all due to worry. Although taking a glance at the clock he noticed that he's late for class...well, a part of his mind registered but by then he was too tired from lack of sleep and promptly dozed off...
