*Kay grabs both and knocks them out and sends a hal of shurkins down the tunnel*

"I think I heard something." Two of the thugs head toward Kay's position.

The three thugs spot Mets heading toward the man hole and while one is busy setting off the alert the other two rush her, shock stix sparking.

"Alright... lets get going. i dont think ill be getting home any time soon, and i think im starting to like this place."

[Queen Octavia]

Brandt had overheard the assignment being given, and had been silenly trailing as best as he could. His hope had been to jump in and steal the reward at the last minute, but perhaps earning a few longer term allies would be worthwhile.

Too that end he quickly moves to silence the one spreading the alert before too much aid can arrive.

[Raleigh]

The shurikens manage to hit the third thug of the group dead on, taking him out of his cloaking field that his implants were generating. He begins sighting down his flamethrower to take out the attacker though, the cyborg parts of his anatomy accounting for his higher pain threshhold and endurance.

"Alright. Now then, need you to fill out these papers. We need to know some of your health history in order to ensure no contamination of other realities might occur, as well as some general personal information. There will be a physical following this before you will be assigned your id."

*The one that was setting the alert was quickly silenced before he even knew what hit him.*

(shannon winces, but picks up the manhole cover, and throws it at high speeds towards the 1st thug's head)

"allright..." I take the papers and fill it out to the best of my knowlege.

A nurse dressed in a pink one piece hospital gown, like something out of an anime, walks up to the new guy and Ebony.

"Hi there. I heard from the crowd that this young man needs to have the guild physical. I'll be more then willing to help. By the way, did you know you have slopper on your shoe?"

I really hope Ebony does not mess this up for me. She almost always ruins my fun.

[Raleigh]

"That would be fine with me. You know I know nothing about human physiology except how to duplicate it and where the kill spots are."

The first thugs head caves in from the force of the tossed manhole cover.

As the thugs drop I approach my fellow hunters.

"Heh, well you had this one covered, but want some additional backup for next time? Nice moves back there, by the way. I was really itchin' to get away from that overdone shindig."

*Kay throws a dagger and plugs up the flame thrower and runs at the thug with her katana*

Solomon watched as the girl talked to everyone, watched as she made her way through the crowd. He continued drinking on his... Wine? Well, it was red and thick like wine was anyway. "Hah. 200 years, and they're just now getting to something like this..."

"umm... some... crazy guy came and took it off my foot with his teeth, and.. i had to kill him to get it back...?"

A nondescrept looking member siddles over to Solomon. "Well this is the first one that will work everywhere anyway. They mentioned something of a problem with the reality matrices during the first few tests on the design about 50 years ago. Besides, back in the old days most of the members could really take a beating."

The dagger prevents a firing of the weapon as the katana finds its rest with its point through the thug's spinal column.

[Teddy]

"Heh. I remember back when we could be slammed into walls, set on fire, and almost be eaten by a hydra, and still could walk around. Now, it's mostly cry-babies, who can't take a few dozen bullets." He drains the drink and frowns. "Still can't feel a thing..."
