Havening finally caught a break, Edward made his way over to the young lady who he had help seat earlier.

"Hi! Looks like you're ready to order. So what'll have?" He asked with a smile.

[Mystic Mina]

"Ugh! Yet another crappy day at school... Life just doesn't seem to ever give me a break!"

Scott let out a long sigh as he made his way back home from school, his head hung low and his feet dragging along the ground. Things have not been the same ever since he left his old hometown. His once commendable grades were beginning to slip, and everyone in this new place seemed to have it out for him in one way or another. Why, just this afternoon he had his lunch money beaten out of him by a couple of punks at school. If only he hadn't moved... If only he had his old friends with him...

"Agh, no! Can't keep thinking like that! Gotta focus on the now, not the then!" Scott shouted at himself while gently beating his palms against his forehead. "I need to get my mind off of things! Maybe a trip to Edward's could help me get my mind out of the gutter."

Scott had stumbled upon Edward's restaurant a month ago, and he was quick to develop relations with the amiable owner. There was just something about Edward that reminded Scott so much of the people back at his old home... Well, that and the fact that his milkshakes were simply DELICIOUS. The man must slip drugs into those things or something!

After a few minutes of walking, Scott arrived at the restaurant and made his way inside. Things looked awfully busy. Hopefully, Scott squeeze in...

"Hey, Edward! Mind if I take a seat somewhere?"

"Hey, Edward! Mind if I take a seat somewhere?"

"Now Scott, I've told you! I need those seats! You can't go taking them home or somewhere else!" Edward said in a joking manner giving Scott a wink.

Edward was always happy to see Scott come in for a bit. The kid seemed so withdrawn most of the time. Edward always did all he could to give the guy a pleasent day.

"Seriously I think you know the answer to that. What kinda buissness man would I be if I chased away my star customers? Have a seat, Milkshake right?"

Meanwhile across the street Mel is walking right near the restaurant where almost everyone is at. "Man I'm hungry, besides anything that involves some type of hard work is always." Mel said as he noticed a restaurant. "That place looks good I guess I should eat here, heard their food was good." Mel said as he entered the restaurant and took a seat.

Brillton looks around some sighing. He gets up see Edward. "Hey Edward! chili and a dr pepper please." He stands there not paying any mind to anyone looking at him.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Maria smiled up at him. He was being nice, after all. "Oh, yes, thank you. I would like an order of the yakisoba, please- with chicken- a side of miso soup, and a strawberry bubble tea, please." That wouldn't be too much trouble, would it? Maria hopped not. She didn't want to add any more stress to the picture.

"Of course, of course. You've got me read like an open book... Say, uh, where's Sandra? I didn't notice her around when I was coming in. Is she ok?"

Scott couldn't help but feel protective over Sandra. She was the one who had introduced Scott to Edward's restaurant.

Maria smiled up at him. He was being nice, after all. "Oh, yes, thank you. I would like an order of the yakisoba, please- with chicken- a side of miso soup, and a strawberry bubble tea, please." That wouldn't be too much trouble, would it? Maria hopped not. She didn't want to add any more stress to the picture.

"Comming right up Ma'am" Edward wrote her order down and prepared to go get it. It had begun to slow back down, leaving only a few people in the lobby (All the people of this RP. All NPCs are gone)

Brillton looks around some sighing. He gets up see Edward. "Hey Edward! chili and a dr pepper please." He stands there not paying any mind to anyone looking at him.

"Sure thing, sorry that it's been a bit hectic today. Fraid my only help had to quit today. Ah, that's youth for you though. She's off to bigger and better things..." He said absentmindly as he jotted the order down.

"Shouldn't be more then a few minutes"

As he made his way to the back, it was around that time that Scott came in and Edward's conversation with him began. After the joke about taking his seat somewhere and the milkshake prediction, Scott replied:

"Of course, of course. You've got me read like an open book... Say, uh, where's Sandra? I didn't notice her around when I was coming in. Is she ok?"

Scott couldn't help but feel protective over Sandra. She was the one who had introduced Scott to Edward's restaurant.

"Ah, don't you remember Scott? This was her last day. She's off to become a Nurse at the hospital. It's a bit sad to see her go, but I'm glad she's living her dream." Edward checked his watch.

"Ah sorry, but I'll be back with you in a bit Scott. I've got to get these orders out. Feel free to stick around after everyone empties the lobby though. I plan on closing up for a bit. May have to skip the dinner rush..."

He trailed off, rushing to the back.

(Ok, soon as this lunch thing is over I'll let you all branch out and post any character development you think you can get in for a few posts. The plan is that when the game reaches night (which will happen pretty soon) you'll have the shards find their mirrors, and the transformations can begin!)

"Yeah just hurry it up please. I have places to go." Brillton sits back down thumbing through his papers again sighing.

(Uh, is it too late to ask folks not to go post crazy? Because I can't be certain how long I can stay on)

Finally coming to a decision regarding his meal, Mike raises his hand, saying, "Excuse me, uh, Edward, right? I think I'm ready over here."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"All right, thank you." Maria went back to perusing the decor and subtly engaging in a bit of people-watching as she waited for her meal. You might see all sorts in a place like this, after all....

[Melkorios]

Melanie smiles, pleased at the server's kindness. She blushed deeper, playing his words through her head. "Nice.... He called me nice...." She said again to herself, blushing deeper still. She picked up a menu, hiding her face with it, looking for something to order. One thing was certain, she was certainly coming here to work tomorrow. "Heh..." She giggled to herself. "No one has been that nice to me, except my parents, in forever!" The one thing that surprised her, however, was how some people were actually noticing her!

(People haven't really been going post crazy, it's been kinda even paced. Sorry it's difficult to keep up with, but hopefully it won't go to much faster)

"Be right there!" Edward called giving many of the paying customers their orders. (This includes all RPers who have ordered. So Brillton, and Maria, ETC have gotten their food.)

"So, what can I get for ya?" He asks Mike.

"I'm feeling kind of bold. I think I'll have some of that Reject Chili. How much is that?"

Brillton thanks Edward and goes back to his papers. "Ohh great job gods find me a good one." He sighs and eats his food smiling "All these I tried before."
